Synopsis[]
When the zoo closes, three best friends - being a snake, a penguin and a hippopotamus - come out together and have their adventures and shenanigans.
Characters[]
Main Characters[]
- Sarah the Snake (voiced by Christine Marie Cabanos) - a giddy and cheerful female snake who is the considered leader of the trio as she often plans adventures, and sometimes likes to solve problems when they have problems. She is also pretty intelligent, making good inventions, but has a tendacy to mispronounce some stuff.
- Patrick the Penguin (voiced by Bryce Papenbrook) - a sensible and sometimes pessimistic male penguin who’s constantly dragged in Sarah’s adventures, despite his reluctant behavior. Despite this, he’s shown to have a gentle heart towards other people he meets and often helps Sarah with her frequent habit of mispronouncing some words.
- Heidi the Hippo (voiced by Alex Cazares) - a somewhat egotistical and food loving female hippo who can be quite lazy when it comes to participating in adventures, but is somewhat considered lovable as well towards her friends as she refuses to abandon them. A running gag is whenever she sees food, she yells out “FOOD!” and immediately goes to have it, leading to Sarah and Heidi trying to stop her.
Supporting Characters[]
- Ernie the Elephant (voiced by Tony Hale) - a happy go lucky yet sometimes anxious elephant who lives in the zoo as he often freaks out about anything that goes on. He also appears to be great friends with Sarah, Patrick and Heidi, but always becomes anxious about their zoo adventures and worries about them.
- Ariel the Spider Monkey (voiced by Andrea Libman) - a mischievous and silly, yet childishly naive spider monkey who loves pulling pranks on her animal friends as her pranks can sometimes be disastrous and end in comedic results, especially towards the Zookeeper, much to his anger.
- Mira the Ocelot (voiced by Ashleigh Ball) - a grouchy and competitive but somewhat friendly tomboyish ocelot who often likes to compete with the other animals in the zoo, especially Sarah and her friends.
- Ruby the Octopus (voiced by Cristina Vee) - a girly and feminine octopus who enjoys doing her makeup and playing tea parties with her dolls. She and Max are at odds at one another, until they learn to respect their differences.
- Max the Pufferfish (voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris) - a sporty and athletic pufferfish whose antics often ruin Ruby’s girly activities, even though he doesn’t mean it. He then starts to respect her and their differences between each other,
- Mrs. Giraffe (voiced by Xanthe Huynh) - a tall, flirty and quite charming giraffe lady who arrives to the zoo and earns the heart of every animal she sees in cages and tanks.
- Lola Lovebug (voiced by Kath Soucie) - a cute and romance-searching ladybug who wants to find someone to love her back. She’s confirmed to be bisexual.
Antagonists[]
- Zookeeper Roger von Albert (voiced by Paul Walter Hauser) - a greedy yet clumsy zookeeper who often sees the three animal trio escaping from the zoo and often tries to catch them, but often fails in comedic ways. He also has a very sweet tooth, his favorite being lollipops and cakes.
- The Devourer (voiced by Patrick Seitz) - A mega sized turtle who nobody knows where he came from or what he does, but he is known for having a giant hunger that usually causes chaos and mayhem.
- The Snake Thief (voiced by Stephanie Sheh) - A thief who generally loves snakes, but to too much of an extant, which is probably the reason why she stole Sarah in the first place, much to her annoyance.
- Osamu Ryugasaki (voiced by Kaiji Tang) - A seafood chef who finds Ruby and Max interesting to use as seafood for his newly opened restaurant and vows to turn them into takoyaki and fugu for his guests to enjoy, despite their pleas.
- Professor Rayton Decard (voiced by Max Mittelman) - A goofy and silly scientist who tries to create great inventions that usually backfire in comedic ways. Most of his inventions involve capturing animals to use as lab rats.
- Saki Gorilla (voiced by Kimiko Glenn) - An intelligent and clever gorilla who just got added into the zoo to make some new friends, but her true nature is actually one that’s psychotic in nature.
