Zax is a major character in The Dawn of Monster Kid. He is an artificial being with nanotechnology-infused synthetic DNA, a clone of Max created by Dr. X and serves as Max's former arch rival.

Zax served as a major antagonist turned hero of season 1, and a major protagonist in seasons 2 and 3.
Appearance[]
As Zax, he greatly resembles Max wearing a suit with black hair.
Personality[]
Despite being Max's arch-rival. Zax has shown to be incompetent and dimwitted to be a villain. Soon, Zax decides to reform after being fed up with the life of a criminal.

A year after Max's powers were revealed to the world, Dr. X use nanotechnology to create an artificial lifeform, created from the DNA cells of Max.
History[]
The Dawn of Monster Kid[]
Throughout season one, Zax tries to defeat Max and become the only Monster Kid. One of his plans was to frame Max by attacking the Avalon headquarters and other crimes, but failed and gets arrested.
Zax returns in the season one finale. After escaping the Avalon prison, he gets recruited by the Gold Vulture to join his team of supervillains called the Syndicate 9 and accepts the offer. His first task was to hold Max's family hostage and send his arch-rival to the Void. However, Max escapes from the Void with the help of Spore Queen and defeats him in battle. Eventually, Max reveals to Zax that the Syndicate 9 were using him as a pawn and were intending to betray him, this angers Zax as he realize the errors of his ways.
