ZapToons is an American web television channel and the flagship property of ZapToons Broadcasting Worldwide, a sub-division of the DragonMedia Global Linear Networks division of Dragon Media Broadcasting. Launched on August 17, 2007, it primarily broadcasts animated television series, mostly children's programming, ranging from action to animated comedy. ZapToons primarily targets children aged 7 to 20 though some early morning programming, formerly of the The Playhouse TV block before it got removed in 2002 and relaunched it as Frenzy in November 15, 2012. Frenzy would launch it's own 24/7 preschool channel as a way to air preschool content on the channel, the block aimed at preschool-aged children ages 3 to 7, while it's midnight block Mature Planet targets teens and adults.

The channel used to air acquired animated programs such as from CN, Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, Fox Kids. They also aired Japanese anime programs being dubbed in English such as Dragon Ball Z Kai, Naruto,One Piece, Sailor Moon, Sonic X, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokémon alongside Bakugan, Beyblade and Doraemon.
It would later create original programs in production make an American independent animation production studio founded called such as Max Carter and his Fantastic Adventures!, Extraman!, Ally The Rockstar Girl and Detective Henry. The network wanted to focus on original content as a way to air acquired programs to make more original content.
As such the network itself also airs action animated shows ranging from Batman: TAS, Justice League, Teen Titans, Ben 10, TMNT 2003 and many others. In 2009, ZapToons launched an action-adventure programming block named Neptunia where it used to premiere action oriented and anime programs on the block, it airs every Saturday to Sunday nights from 5 to 10 a.m.
