Zack Mazursky is a main character in 2006 crime drama film Alpha Dog. He is based on Nicholas Markowitz who was kidnapped and murdered at the age of 15 after a feud over drug money between his half-brother Benjamin Markowitz and Jesse James Hollywood. Zack is portrayed by Anton Yelchin.

Kidnapping and murder[]
The feud between Jake Mazursky, Zack's older half-brother, and Johnny Truelove, a mid-level drug dealer, began over the alleged $1,200 debt owed to Truelove by Mazursky.
Alpha Dog[]
Zack first appears as his older half-brother Jake comes over by the house for a visit. He later asks Jake if he could come. Jake said no because he has "a lot of shit to do". Zack comes over to Jake's apartment as he and his girlfriend Wanda have sex. Wanda gives Zack a butt naked hug while covering her front with a pillow. As he, Jake and Wanda have a nice chat with each other, Zack's mom calls for Zack to return home soon as possible. Jake confirms and drops Zack back at his place, and drives off.

- Anton Yelchin who portrayed Zack in the film, said that the pool scene between his character, Amanda Seyfried and Amber heard's character was his least favourite part in the film.
