This trope is also known as "Nostalgia Revival" or "Childhood Comeback" and occurs when a beloved piece of childhood media, trend, or object is revived or reintroduced in the present, often sparking nostalgia in those who grew up with it. This can include TV shows, movies, video games, toys, fashion trends, or even technology. The revival often aims to capture the magic of the past while appealing to a modern audience.
This can work by any way that it is:

- After the series finale/48-minute special of The Adventures of Chuck & Friends that aired in 2016 (known as Friends for the Longer Haul), it was announced that it will be back for a 7th season that aired in 2023 when the YouTube channel of the show opened that will feature new characters and new voice cast (Ana Sani, Bahia Watson, Ellen-Ray Hennessey, Carlos Diaz, etc.), new animation (which is animated by Jam Filled Toronto, similar to that to Bubble Guppies) and a new theme song, which takes events after the movie from 2018.
- In 2019, it was announced by WildBrain that Animal Mechanicals will back for a new CGI style however, fans thought it was gonna be like the original show from 2007/2008, too bad that the characters don't talk anymore and speak in random noises, this made many fans who grew up with the original upset.
- Bob the Builder had its own reboot back in 2015, many fans who grew up with the original show didn't like the new designs of the characters.
- Bubble Guppies had rewarded for a new season in 2019 with Zooli as the new character.
- The DuckTales reboot for 2017 aired in the original show from 1987's 30th anniversary featuring a new theme song and refreshing HD look with new characters too.
