Winnie the Pooh: Lost in New York is an American computer animated musical, family adventure film produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It features characters from A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh stories, but differs from the 2018 film Christopher Robin.

Like The Search for Christopher Robin, this film is an entirely original story, not based on any of A.A. Milne's Pooh stories.

As a computer animated continuation, of the Winnie the Pooh animated features, the film stars TBA as Christopher Robin,

Jim Cummings reprises his voice roles as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, Travis Oates as Piglet, Brad Garrett as Eeyore, Tom Kenny as Rabbit and Andre Stojka as Owl. In the film, Pooh and his friends embark on an adventure to find Christopher Robin in the big city of New York,

Synapsis[]

When Christopher Robin moves away to America, Pooh and his friends Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit and Eeyore embark on a quest outside the Hundred Acre Wood, across the sea to find their friend in the big city of New York. Along the way, they'll make friends with other misfit children. They'll soon learn of a plot that threatens to not only their friendship, but the future of the Hundred Acre Wood itself.

Plot[]

Christopher Robin comes and visits his animal friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. There, he spends his days with his closest friend, Winnie the Pooh (or Pooh for short), and they have so many fun adventures together along with their friends Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, Roo, Gopher and Lumpy. One day, after getting some unfortunate news from his mother, Christopher tried to tell Pooh about is his departure, but Pooh is uninterested spend the whole day spending time together.

Winnie the Pooh wakes up from his home the next morning and goes out to Christopher Robin's house, only to discover a letter at the door, but he was unable to open it. He starts looking for Christopher Robin to ask him about the it but there was no sign him anywhere. Then, Pooh gathers Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Gopher and Lumpy to Owl's house, so Owl can decipher the letter.

The letter says:

"Dear Pooh Bear: If you found this note, it means that I failed to tell you something very important yesterday. You see, my mother has told me that we are moving far away across the sea to the United States in a place called New York City. It means that I may no longer see you again. I'll never forget all the amazing adventures we shared together with you and all our friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. I hope you remember the promises we made for each other. Your friend, Christopher Robin."

    • Winnie the Pooh, a naive yet kind-hearted teddy bear who loves honey and is the protagonist.
    • Tigger, an energetic and brave tiger who loves to bounce.
  • Travis Oates as Piglet, a small timid pig who is always easily-frightened by everything, and is Pooh's best friend. However, Piglet is kindhearted and tries to be brave to conquer his fears.
  • Brad Garret as Eeyore, an ever-gloomy and pessimistic donkey who has a habit of losing his tail whenever it falls off.
  • Tom Kenny as Rabbit, a pretentious, sarcastic and strait-laced rabbit who loves planting vegetables in his garden and is often teased and irritated by Tigger's bouncing.
  • TBA as Kanga, a motherly kangaroo.
  • TBA as Roo, Kanga's joyful and playful son.
  • Andre Stojka as Owl, a fast-talkative elderly owl who is not as wise as he thinks, and rambles to others very long and boring stories related about his various relatives.
