In reality, we know that Nickelodeon introduced its Nicktoons in 1991.

But imagine this, what if Nickelodeon introduced its Nicktoons in 1981?

Changes[]

  • Doug, The Ren & Stimpy Show and Rugrats would've both premiered in 1981, instead of 1991 and Hey Arnold!, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents would've both premiered in 1991, instead of 1996, 1999 and 2001, replacing our real-life 1st Nicktoons.
    • SpongeBob SquarePants would've ended in 2003, with the fictional 3rd film of it being the ultimate series finale and a reboot would've premiered in 2016, replacing our real-life Loud House series.
  • The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie would've been released in 1998, instead of 2004, replacing our real-life Rugrats film.
    • Instead of it being about SpongeBob and Patrick saving Neptune's crown from Plankton, it would've been a origin story of how SpongeBob and Plankton first met, meaning that the episodes Help Wanted and Plankton! would have different stories and names. Also, the film would've been entirely traditionally-animated instead of both traditionally-animated and live-action.
    • The plot for the real-life 1st film of SpongeBob SquarePants would've been reserved for the fictional 3rd film, SpongeBob's Quest for the Crown.
    • The made-for-TV film, SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis, would've been made into the fictional 2nd theatrical film of SpongeBob SquarePants, with it releasing in 2001 and the name being SpongeBob in Atlantis: The Movie.
      • Also, the alternate universe version of it would've been better and more successful, compared to the real-life version.
        • The writers would've done more research on Atlantis.
  • The Loud House would've premiered in 1999, replacing our real-life SpongeBob SquarePants series.
    • Also, the film of it would've made a theatrical release in 2004, instead of being a Netflix-exclusive release in 2021, replacing our real-life SpongeBob SquarePants film.
