- Both would deviate from copying the Disney style into adapting a more goofy type of humor that would characterize the Looney Tunes on its Golden Age.
- Although they were created by Hugo Harman and Rudolf Ising, both would become more refined under Tex Avery, Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng's direction and much like most of the other Looney Tunes characters, they'd become even more iconic when Mel Blanc started providing their voices.
- Due to being seen as an African American stereotype, Bosko is changed to a dog.
- Foxy would be redesigned to no longer look like Mickey Mouse.
- Foxy would be reimagined as a straight man to the insanity of other characters.
- Bosko, his girlfriend Honey, Foxy and his girlfriend Roxy all appear in several Looney Tunes cartoons.
- Bosko and Foxy would still be the lead characters for the Looney Tunes series until being overshadowed by characters that became even more popular than them like Bugs Bunny (who would later become the main star of the Looney Tunes and the mascot of Warner Bros. as well), Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester and Tweety, Speedy Gonzales, Foghorn Leghorn, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner.
- Despite this, they are still popular nowadays.
- Bosko would usually be paired with Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, TBD, TBD and TBD.
- Foxy would usually be paired with Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Elmer Fudd, TBD and TBD.
