We F(ight) Demons is a 2019 horror comedy.

Plot[]

In the 19th century-like village of Shalton, Elizabeth puts her young daughter Melissa to bed. Melissa tells Elizabeth that she heard kids tell her about a demon called the Jkuul, and asks Elizabeth if the Jkuul is real. Elizabeth insists that it isn't and goes downstairs. Still awake and wanting water Melissa goes downstairs only to see the bloody corpse of Elizabeth. Melissa backs away in horror but is stopped by a mysterious figure. The next morning the village elders go to Elizabeth's house and see that Melissa is missing. At a meeting the villagers insist that Jkuul has once again risen to abduct children and kill villagers, and that the mayor must hire demon hunters to defend the village. The mayor is reluctant but agrees to hire the mysterious "Thunder and Lightning" who the villagers claim are on tour.

"Thunder and Lightning" are revealed to be Milo and Amy, two actors who became known for starring in a porn parody of The Exorcist called "The Sexxxorcist." In the present, five years after The Sexxxorcist was released, Milo is now a recluse and Amy is a recovering alcoholic, with neither doing any films after The Sexxxorcist. Milo is talked by his agent into going as a guest for a comic-con like porn convention but discovers that Amy is also there as a guest, and the two seem to resent each other. After going through autographs Milo and Amy are approached by a Zachariah, a mysterious villager who calls them demon fighters and tells them to go with him. Believing this to be part of the con the two go with him.

Milo and Amy arrive at Shalton where they are greeted by the mayor and sent to the church where they are greeted by preacher Father Daniel. Father Daniel tells the two that the town is being terrorized by the Jkuul, a demon that rises every 13 years to slaughter 15 adults and 15 children so it can gain power. Believing this to be a set-up Milo and Amy go along with Daniel's speech. The two are sent to live with Morgana and her daughter Mary-Katherine. After getting to know Morgana and Mary-Katherine Milo and Amy go to a bar. Amy attempts to resist the urge to drink but notices Milo's resentment towards her and drinks several beers. The bar patrons become hostile towards Milo after he politely refuses a drink. In response Milo ends up taking several beers and earns the patrons' admiration after he drunkenly promises to "kick Jkuul's ass."

The next morning Milo and Amy wake up with hangovers and are alerted by a village member to come outside. The two go outside to see a crowd gathered in the village, and are horrified when they see a child's corpse on the ground, which the villagers insist is a sign from the Jkuul. Realizing the village and Jkuul are real Milo and Amy walk away from the group. Milo insists that they leave but Amy convinces him to stay due to fears of being imprisoned by the village. After being pressured by members of the village Milo and Amy insist that they will defeat the Jkuul. Over the next few days Amy bonds with Mary-Katherine and Milo researches the Jkuul.

Milo discovers that the Jkuul needs a host to truly rise, and hypothesizes that someone is helping it. Milo and Amy begin interrogating villagers but get no leads. As the days go by more citizens are killed or abducted, causing tension between the two to rise. Right after the 29th disappearance it is revealed why Milo and Amy resent each other: during production of The Sexxxorcist Amy was constantly harassed by director Dean DeBlous. Amy hid it from Milo until they started working on The Sexxxorcist II: The Heretidick, where Milo caught Dean forcing himself onto Amy. Milo quit in protest, but Amy stayed. Milo angrily walked away but accidentally punched an extra, causing him to be forced off the premises. Amy spoke up for him, causing Dean to grow tired of Amy and fire her as well. Meanwhile Mary-Katherine discovers Amy's phone.

Milo and Amy walk back to Morgana's house, where they see a shocked Mary-Katherine. Milo and Amy discover that Amy's phone is playing The Sexxxorcist, revealing the two to be frauds. Heartbroken, Mary-Katherine runs away. Milo and Amy once again get into an argument, with Amy blaming Milo for the situation and Milo angrily responds by calling Amy a cunt. Amy storms off and reveals to the rest of the town that she and Milo are just amateur porn stars. The two go their separate ways, Amy to the church and Milo back to Morgana's house. At the church Amy is met by Father Daniel, and she confesses her feelings of anger and regret. Father Daniel reveals to Amy that when he was in high school he bullied a student and still feels responsible for the student's suicide. Father Daniel encourages Amy to not live in regret like he does and to make amends with Milo, causing Amy to leave and thank him. Meanwhile Milo stays with Morgana and the two have a talk. Morgana tells Milo nonchalantly tells Milo that change is coming, and Milo notices a tattoo on Morganna's shoulder. Morgana tries to hide it but Milo looks and discovers that it is the mark of Jkuul. Milo realizes that Morgana has summoned Jkuul and is soon knocked out. Amy arrives but notices Milo bound and gagged. She manages to get Milo's gag off, but is soon knocked out by Morgana.

Amy regains consciousness and finds that she and Milo are both bound and gagged. Using a trick from The Sexxxorcist Amy climaxes, wetting herself and breaking her bounds. She frees Milo, who tells her Morgana's plot: conspiring with other members of the village Morgana kidnaps Mary-Katherine and traps her in the bar, planning to use her as a virgin sacrifice to gain Jkuul's power. Milo and Amy arrive and attempt to stop the sacrifice. After Amy accidentally impales one of the cultists she begins fighting the cultists as Milo attempts to free Mary-Katherine. However Morgana stabs Mary-Katherine and offers her blood to Jkuul. Amy kills Morgana but Mary-Katherine is soon possessed by Jkuul. Milo and Amy fight Mary-Katherine but are unable to bring themselves to kill her. Mary-Katherine briefly comes back and tells them that she can't hold it for long and that they need to kill her. Tearfully, Milo kills her. Traumatized, Milo and Amy leave, with Milo burning down the bar so that all remnants of Jkuul are destroyed. Milo and Amy get a ride home, with Amy saying "God I need a drink."
