We Bare Bears: The Movie is an upcoming 2020 American animated adventure musical fantasy film, directed, written and executive produced by series creator Daniel Chong in his directorial debut. This film is based on the 2015 series and the comic book of the same name. The film takes place after the season four finale. The film will be produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The film is set to release theatrically in the United States and Canada on March 20, 2020, by Warner Bros. Pictures. It will be the next Cartoon Network film, after The Powerpuff Girls Movie. The film will also have its television premiere on Cartoon Network sometime in 2020. This makes it the first and only theatrical We Bare Bears film to hit the big screen. In theaters, a Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi short entitled Beach Girls was shown prior to the film.
The film features Eric Edelstein, Bobby Moynihan and Demetri Martin reprising their roles from the television series. The story focuses on the Bears embark on a journey to escape a new foe who is trying to tear them apart. It was first announced by Cartoon Network on May 30, 2019 and that an untitled spinoff series that focuses on the three bears as when they were cubs is in development.
The film received positive reviews from critics and was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $387 million worldwide against a $54 million budget, making it the next Cartoon Network animated film to gross as high as $100 million in the United States, and the fifth highest-grossing animated film based on a television series, behind The Simpsons Movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, and The Rugrats Movie.
Summary
The movie will learn that best bros Grizzly, Panda and Ice Bear have always had each other’s backs. When their love of food trucks and internet fame leads to unexpected mayhem, they must go on a wild, hilarious and dangerous adventure to escape a foe that threatens to tear them apart.

On May 30, 2019, Cartoon Network announced that We Bare Bears: The Movie will be released in 2020 and that an untitled spinoff series that focuses on the three bears as when they were cubs is in development.
Music
Brad Breeck composed the soundtrack for the film. In addition to using the original series' music work on the film, he also composed themes for Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear. The Three Bears' adventure score was the major focus and he also composed themes for the new foe of the bears.

It contains Deleted Scenes and Outtakes, a Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi short film Beach Girls, the documentary Behind the Three Bears: The Making of We Bare Bears: The Movie, featuring interviews with most of the cast and crew, animatics, the 18-minute featurette, the pilot episode and the audio commentaries.

Review aggregate website Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a 97% approval rating based on the 140 reviews and its average rating is 8.6/10 on IMDb. The critical consensus reads, "When the three bears stack up for the big screen, they really stack up big". Metacritic, assigns the film a score of 74 out of 100, based on 32 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews". CinemaScore gives the film a "A" on its A+ to F scale.
