Wayside! is an upcoming anime that is based on the Wayside School series by Louis Sachar. It will be produced by Toei Animation and will premiere on TV Asahi in early 2019. It is expected to run for 30 episodes.
Plot[]
The anime takes place in the fictional Wayside School. The school is 30 stories tall, due to a construction error, with one classroom on each floor. However, there is no 19th floor. The anime will follow the books "Sideways Stories from Wayside School" and "Wayside School is Falling Down" along the way. Each episode has 2 10-minute stories (except for Eric, Eric, and Eric, which is a 22-minute episode), the first will be a chapter, while the second will be the next chapter (except for Miss Zarves chapter in "Sideways Stories from Wayside School").
