Production[]
Development and writing[]

Beachside Diner came from a concoction of Double R Diner in David Lynch's Twin Peaks and a typical New York-New Jersey diner.
The series' creator, E.S. Breen, has said, that "other great shows, like Twin Peaks or The End of the F***ing World have influenced the idea of Warm Point, and have inspired me to do the show."
Some inspiration for the creation of the town of Warm Point, New Jersey also came from Steven Universe, where the town named Beach City appears.
Beachside Diner came from the inspiration with the role of Double R Diner in Twin Peaks, a large, unfinished house in the town is a reference to The OA , and there's much more references to various shows, films and videogames.
Filming[]
The filming commenced in June 2021, but was troubled by the aftermath of coronavirus pandemic. Full-scale filming could only be achieved in July and August, and filming lasted until September 2021. The first season was finally filmed fully in May 2022, two months before the release.
Creators of the film used Atlantic City, Ocean City, Cape May and communities around them for filming.
Music[]

Haywyre, an American music producer and the composer for Warm Point.
A contract was made with an American music producer, Haywyre. His already existing composition, "Dichotomy (Soft Mix)" that is in the "Two Fold Pt.1" album, was used as intro music for the series, as the creator of the series has said: "In Haywyre's "Dichotomy" I've heard some... beach notes, that inspired me to do something beach-related. Something, which events unfold on a coast. Music is one of the things that gives me inspiration."
Some existing tracks by Haywyre were used in the show's soundtrack, as well as some tracks that Haywyre wrote exclusively for the show. Other composers are French 79 and Radiohead.
