WB Serververse is an open-world video game developed by Epic Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, based on the setting from the 2021 film Space Jam: A New Legacy. The video game centers around the player getting sucked into the Warner Bros. Serververse and is guided by Pete, a former ally to Al-G Rhythm, to explore the Serververse. The game was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows on July 22, 2025 to promote the Dwayne Johnson-led Space Jam spin-off Serververse Jam.
Gameplay[]
Unlike most open world games that have missions and objectives, this game lets you travel around the many worlds in the Serververse. The player can customize and save the avatar they play before exploring the Serververse. Players can also choose any of the 16 hub worlds to start in; those being Looney Tunes' Tune World, Animaniacs' Warner Bros. Studio, DC World (consisting of Gotham City from Batman: The Animated Series, Metropolis from Superman: The Animated Series, Atlantis from the DC Animated Universe, and Jump City from Teen Titans), Scooby-Doo's Coolsville (based on the universe of SCOOB!), The Flintstones' Bedrock, The Jetsons' Orbit City, Space Ghost's Ghost Planet, Harry Potter's Hogwarts, Game of Thrones' Westeros, the title city of Casablanca, Oz from The Wizard of Oz, the Matrix, the desert of Mad Max, The Lord of the Rings' Middle-earth, The Iron Giant's Rockwell, and Cartoon Network City (consisting of Genius Grove, Townsville, Foster's, Marzipan City, Stormalong Harbor, the Land of Ooo, the Park, Beach City, Aberdale, Herkleton, and Monte Macabre).
When collecting an amount of Warner chips (a data chip with the "WB" symbol) in the worlds you explore, players can purchase items from the ACME score in Tune World, which consists of selected items used by Wile E. Coyote from the Looney Tunes shorts. Players can also purchase clothes and other types of wardrobe for their avatar. As you begin the game at the start, you can choose the version of your avatar you want from male (voiced by Josh Keaton or Ogie Banks if African-American) or female (voiced by Kari Wahlgren or Kimberly Brooks if African-American).
Development[]
WB Serververse was made to be a free-to-play console game rather than a physical copy to purchase in stores. As the game itself would be free for players, downloadable content would be payed for.
As the game includes franchises that are beyond the E and E10+ ratings, the game was given a T rating.
Downloadable content[]
As there are 16 worlds in the game itself to visit, players can purchase nine other worlds, including Astoria, Oregon from The Goonies; Kingston Falls from Gremlins; the Neitherworld from Beetlejuice; Edge City from The Mask; Austin Powers' world; a world featuring the other Hanna-Barbera franchises, entitled "Hanna-Barbera Town" (consisting of Yogi Bear, Captain Caveman, Jabberjaw, Dynomutt, Dog Wonder, and Wacky Races), Dimension C-131 from Rick and Morty; the yeti village from Smallfoot; and two DC worlds separate from the DC Animated Universe, Themyscira from the Wonder Woman franchise akin to its scene from Space Jam: A New Legacy and the "Earth-66" Gotham City from the 1966 Batman TV series.
