Max transforms into Argo and despite Vulcan's power and strength, he was able to gain the upper hand and defeats Vulcan by creating illusions of Spiral, Phadorah and Geo-Mite. Sooner or later, Argo and Vulcan fire energy beams, creating a beam clash. Luckily, Argo puts enough power to overpower Vulcan's crimson rays, creating an explosion that sends Vulcan into space.
