the untitled Transformers G1 is an upcoming American animated television series based on the toyline with the same name, it is a direct sequel to the 1984-1987 series The Transformers that disregards the events of Beast Wars: Transformers and Beast Machines: Transformers, as well as a revival of the Generation 1 era. The series will co-production between Hasbro Entertainment and Nickelodeon Animation Studio, most of the original cast has returned along with new cast along with Mairghread Scott and Alan Wan as developers and showrunners.

Plot[]

In the aftermath of the original show's finale. An E-bomb detonated within the Plasma Energy Chamber causes both Autobots and Decepticons to shutdown, 300 years later sisters Sam and Becky Witwicky, descendants of Daniel Witwicky crash land on Cybertron, accidentally reactivate Vector Sigma and both factions thus, continuing their centuries long battle in a time where they're nothing more than a faded memory.

The rest of the original cast have been confirmed both reprising their roles and playing new characters.

Production[]

Paramount+ announced that yet Transformers series only this series will a revival of Generation 1 cartoon era and a direct continuation of the 1984-1987 series that tie cuts all ties with the Beast Wars: Transformers and Beast Machines: Transformers,. Characters from the original series will appear along with characters from Transformers: Headmasters, Transformers: Super-Force Masterforce, Transformers: Victory, the 2001 anime, the Unicron trilogy, and other renditions. Most of the surviving writers will return with Joe Bacal, Margaret Loesch, Tom Griffin and will the surviving staff members as consultants, in addition the series will take place in 2073 decades after the first shows finale, where the the two factions are reawakened by Daniel Witwicky's granddaughters and, will be featured in a retro futuristic timeline and bring the original storylines' to its proper end with no cliffhangers. Alan Wan (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and Mairghread Scott will develop and executive produce the series.

The series will take place in retro futuristic timeline. Daniel Witwicky's granddaughter's Sam and Becky will a scientist, engineer, technicaian with three degrees in those fields and the other a easygoing and free spirited blogger, influencer, and vlogger with awesome blaster skills based on Rebecca Bluegarden from Edens Zero, Happy from both Fairy Tail and Edens Zero has been confirmed to appear under the name H2P7Y with Happy as his nickname, the Autobots will work with an interplanetary special mission force, defense force, and major scientific organization to combat the Decepticons and other threats, both fractions retain their original vehicle modes to help stand out from the futuristic vehicles, characters from Hasbro's other shows much as Inhumanoids, Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines, and Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light will appear as well.

Casting[]

Sabrina Carpenter as Samantha "Sam" Witwicky, Kira Buckland as Rebecca "Becky" Witwicky, Tia Ballard will reprise her role as Happy from both Fairy Tail and Edens Zero along with Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, Frank Welker as Galvatron, Soundwave and many other roles, alongside the rest of the surviving original voice cast with restrictions should their voices run out, recording will be held at Studiopolis with Jamie Simone returning as casting and voice director as he did for Prime and Robots in Disguise.

Scene transition and bumpers[]

Like the original series the updated Autobot/Decepticon scene transition will be utilized a loose contemporary rendition of the its music will be used, commercial break bumpers will be used as homage to the original series.

Animation[]

In the original series Japan's Toei Animation provided the animation for season 1-3 and South Korea' AKOM did so for season 4, designs for the Autobots and Decepticons from Floro Dery will be used with modern take, the series will be seen in a modern anime-influenced style as Masters of the Universe: Revelation and Dota: Dragon Blood Red Dog Culture House and Tiger Animation will provide the animation, while Phil Bourassa, Dai Jeong, and Jin-Won Jung will be character designers

Sound effects[]

Various sound effects used in both Prime and Robots in Disguise will be utilized to give the transformations, walking, clanging and other noises to be more contemporary.

Music[]

Ryan Lofty and Jay Vincent will score that series as well as "loose contemporary" use of Johnny Douglas and Robert J. Walsh score, Kinder & Bryant opening and closing theme will be contemporarily rescored.
