    • Mettaton has a more male appearance to his design; Sporting a dress shirt, pants, and vest.
    • Frisk's full name and age are given in the film. She is revealed to be named Laura Erhart and is 12 years old. In addition, more details on her past are given.
    • Sans' personality is geared solely towards being comedic and somewhat lazy rather than having an additional dark and serious side to him as in the game.
    • Bob, the one temmie villager with a different name, is also the temmie shopkeeper.
