Cats and Bird named Tweety and Sylvester visit the kingdom of Atlantica, where they plan to perform for the country's Queen during its annual underwater pageant, which is organized by Scuttle. At Atlantica, Ariel, a sixteen-year-old mermaid princess is given asylum on the local church as she intends to go to Vienna where her aunt and uncle live, but a pair of thieves, the Ursula the sea witch and his niece Mrs. Toad, who claim to be watching over the preparations for the pageant, have their sights set on seizing the riches stored inside the church. Tweety and Sylvester also get settled in the church for the preparations, but a dog chases them causing a mess inside the church that Scuttle blames Ariel for, but the church priest, King Triton, doesn't think Ariel caused the mess. However, the Ursula and Mrs. Toad manage to steal the riches and also kidnap Ariel, leaving her Flounder on the place where the riches were so King Triton and Scuttle believe she stole them. Tweety and Sylvester later help Ariel escape and the Ursula and Mrs. Toad are caught, with the riches being recovered, proving that Ariel is innocent all along, but the previous chase caused damage to the church's organ. Later on, the melody Tweety and Sylvester has been playing repeatedly on his violin inspires the organist. King Triton, who has written a poem, uses the melody to compose "Part of Your World" and perform it for the first time. The Queen then offers to take Ariel and Eric marry on a ship and depart and Ariel says goodbye to her new friends, Tweety and Sylvester.
