Turbo 2: Back in Action is a 2022 American computer-animated sports comedy film produced by DreamWorks Animation for Universal Pictures. Directed and written by David Soren and produced by Lisa Stewart, the film is a sequel to the 2013 film Turbo, and stars the voices of Ryan Reynolds, Paul Giamatti, Michael Peña, Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., Sylvester Stallone, Amy Adams, Sarah Vowell, John C. Reilly, and Marisa Tomei. In the film, Turbo sets out to prove to a new generation of snail racers that he's still the best.

The film was released on July 17, 2022, in RealD 3D. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for its animation, voice talent (particularly Reynolds, Giamatti, Downey Jr. and Stallone), musical score by Steve Jablonsky and pacing, though criticized the plot, screenplay and runtime. It was a box office success, grossing $403 million worldwide against its production budget of $128 million.


Blindsided by a new generation of snail racers, Turbo (Ryan Reynolds) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back on top, he'll have to train harder than ever before.
