Carl Andy Presents Toons from Around the World is an American children's television series created and presented by Carl Andy that ran on HBO from 1984 to 1988, an anthology series showcasing episodes of Foreign language children's cartoons (mostly Anime) dubbed into English for the series with Andy introducing them through wraparound segments and bringing up a certain theme or topic of the episode (I.e. Failure, Generosity and Growing Up) and showcases unrelated shorts involving a similar theme at the end, the show was produced by Andy's Dreidel Television production company and distributed by Orion Pay Television.

Accolades[]
The series was nominated for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program in the 38th Primetime Emmy Awards in 1986, but lost to Garfield's Halloween Adventure.
Home Media[]
Orion Home Video released tapes of Individual episodes during the show's run between 1985 and 1988, there are currently no plans for a DVD release due to licensing issues regarding the individual shows showcased, however 48 out of 50 of the episodes have surfaced on the Internet Archive.
