Plot[]

Tom, Jerry and Tuffy alogn with Elena stowaway on the SS. Poseidon.... only to get in trouble when, on New Year's Eve, a 90 foot wave capsizes the ship upside down. Now they and others must work together on a daring escape. But how many would survive and how many would die?

Mr. Linarcos: We're already three days behind schedule! And it's costing my consortium thousands of dollars every day to maintain a wrecking crew. I demand we dock Monday night!

Captain Harrison: And I can't afford to gamble with the lives of my passengers!

Mr. Linarcos: Your business is to deliver this ship, where we want it, WHEN we want it!

Captain Harrison: Running an unstable ship at full ahead is dangerous!

Mr. Linarcos: I'm sure...

Captain Harrison: Especially one as old as this! You know this could lead to destruction.

Mr. Linarcos: I'm sure I don't have to remind you of my legal right to have you relieved of command. Three other officers aboard this ship have their Master's License. Now, order Full Ahead!

Jerry: So that's the cat this ship is named after, huh?

Droopy: That's right, Jerry. The Greek God Poseidon. God of the oceans. God of storms, tempests, earthquakes and other weathers. God of horses. Poseidon was protector of seafarers, and of many Hellenic cities and colonies. In Homer's Iliad, Poseidon supports the Greeks against the Trojans during the Trojan War. In the Odyssey, during the sea-voyage from Troy back home to Ithaca, the Greek hero Odysseus provoked Poseidon's fury by blinding his son Polyphemus the Cyclops, resulting in Poseidon punishing him with storms, the complete loss of his ship and companions, and a ten-year delay. Believed to dwell on Atlantis. He is also called Neptune by the Romans.

Elena: Hmmm. Nice trident. Hmmm. He sounded a grump. He needed some psychiatrist.

Droopy: Precisely which I thought when I first heart the story.

Captain Harrison: By the way, happy New Year.

First Officer Larsen: Thank you, sir. Same to you.

Elena: I'm part-Japanese. My mum was a Japanese medic from Hiroshima. My dad was an American captain from New York. They married and had me. They tried to convince their peoples to stop. But arrogant politicians ignored them. The result was nuclear shells dumped on my city. My mum and dad fell. Only I survived. I was alone for so long... then I found you.
Doctor Quipo: Oh, yep. This is good.
Linda Rogo: I saw a young officer on deck the other day, and he looked DAMN familiar... even with his clothes on.

Mike Rogo: So... he recognized ya, so?

Linda Rogo: So doesn't that bother you?

Mike Rogo: If it bothered me, I wouldn'ta married ya.

Linda Rogo: Well first you arrested me six times.

Mike Rogo: Well I had to figure out some way to keep you off the streets... until you'd marry me.

Droopy: HMMM.

Captain Harrison: [to Mr. Linarcos] You irresponsible, arrogant bitch. You condemned us all to destruction. Hmmm.
(Laplo collides with Dingle Jones and drops trays)

Laplo Valentin: Sorry,.

Dingle Jones: Oi! Look where you go, you clumsy oaf.

Elena: And you should look how you speak, you hypocritical creep.

Linda Rogo: Jesus Christ! What the hell happened?

Elena: HMMM. It appears the 90 foot wave which went from Crete near Greece capsized us. We're upside down.

Tom: We're upside down? And the ship's gonna sink?

(he screams and runs about)

Elena: Tom.

(she slaps him)

Elena: CALM DOWN!

Tom: But I want to get out.

Reverand Frank Scott; I know. But panicking would make things worse.

Robin Shelby: Sis? Susan!

Susan Shelby: Robin! Reverend Scott!

[Everyone looks up and sees Susan clinging to the underside of a table]

Susan Shelby: Uh. Can you help me?

Robin Shelby: How the heck did you get up there, sis?

Susan Shelby: (annoyed) That's a stupid question!

Linda Rogo: Duh.

Reverand Frank Scott: Come with us.

Butch: Ignore this madman. He'd get us all destroyed.

Purser: For God's sake, Reverend, what you're doing is suicide!

Reverend Frank Scott: We're cut off from the rest of the world. They can't get to us. Maybe we can get to them. You've said enough, now get out of the way.

Purser: Pray for us, but don't do this! Climbing to another deck will kill you all!

Reverend Frank Scott: And sitting on our butts is not going to help us either. Maybe by climbing out of here, we can save ourselves. If you've got any sense, you'll come along with us.

Spike: [Dingle Jones and Detective Michael Rogo refused to help move the Christmas tree] Look here... you arrogant, cowardly twit. You get your ass down here with us, mister, right away or I might need to force you to do so.

Detective Michael Rogo: Hey... You oughta watch your language, Dog! You sound like you come from the slum, or somethin'!

Linda Rogo: For God's sake, go help him!

Susan Shelby: Zero need to fear. We'd get out if we use our heeaaaaaaaaaaaa-!

(she slips on a banana skin and falls down a gap)

Robin Shelby: Susan! Where are you?

Susan Shelby: Down here.

(she snorts..... picking up the banana skin)

Susan Shelby: Who left a banana skin?

(they all sneer on Dingle Jones)

Dingle Jones: Why do you accuse me?

Jerry: Wonder why?

Dingle Jones: The clown did it.

Chuckie Stan Pop: Very funny. But I saw you do it.

(he drags out a camera showing Dingle eating a banana and dumping the peel)

(Chuckie Stan Pop puts a pie on Dingle's head)

Dingle Jones: Why me?

Reverend Frank Scott: Through the kitchens and go deeper and deeper in the ship till we reach the hull. That way!

Detective Michael Rogo: And you just kick out the bottom and we swim ashore, huh?

Linda Rogo: Or maybe you could yell 'This is the police' and it'll open right up!

Detective Michael Rogo: Enough with your wisecracks, eh.

Jerry: My.

Tom: And I thought you had a big mouth, Jerry.

Nonnie Parry: [frightened] I can't swim.

James Martin: You can't?

Nonnie Parry: No... not a stroke.

James Martin: What'll I tell the others?

Ella: Tell 'em to break out their hymnals and start singing "Nearer My God To Thee" !

Tom: Lions, tigers and bears. Oh, my. And crocs too!

Jerry: Just a minute. Which sorta madman put lions, tigers, bears, crocs, and snakes!!!!!

Reverand Scott: The one who ignored the captain's warning.

Chuckie Stan Pop: Oh, Mama. Now things got more serious.

Susan Shelby: Just a minute! This isn't an engine room!

Linda Rogo: Then where the Hell are we?

Reverend Frank Scott: There was a corridor leading to the engine room.

Mr. Manny Rosen: But now it's underwater.

Reverend Frank Scott: All right. We'll swim through it. Give me the rope.

Tom: You've gotta be kidding! There's no way I'd swim in... especially if sharks roam.

Reverend Frank Scott: It's in the clear. It's one deck up. It's above us. We'll swim through the bulkhead, down a short corridor and up a companionway. It can't be more than thirty five feet at the most.

Linda Rogo: Oh, is that all!

Reverend Frank Scott: We can do it. Trust me, we can do it!

Chuckie Stan Pop: Come on.

Robin Shelby: I once helped my dad drag a 600 pound marlin near Hawaii.

Robin Shelby: I'm sorry Mrs. Rosen, I didn't mean it to sound like that.

Mrs. Belle Rosen: What, I miss something?

Robin Shelby: When I said I helped my dad drag in a 600 pound marlin. I didn't mean that I thought you weighed that much.

Mrs. Belle Rosen: All that's going on and THAT'S what you're worried about?

Tom: I gotta get out off here. The ocean rising. Steam. Fire. And some bloodthirsty preds. A croc bit me. Lions, tigers and bears mauled me. I'M A SINGER CELEBRITY! GET ME OUT OF HERE!
Elena: Ensign Jones! Detective Rogo. You two really tick me. You two prejudice me for being part-Japanese, and also prejudice Laplo for being part-Italian and Pop for being part-German. All for a war which ended long ago. Your people fought the Nazis to end fascism. Racial abuse. Are you Nazis now? Do you destroy anyone for being a different people or for being a hybrid?!?
Reverend Frank Scott: Lets make a toast.

Spike: Great. What will we drink to?

Reverend Frank Scott: To Love.

Linda Rogo: Here here. To love. To Love. To Love, dummy!

Mike Rogo: Oh.

Mrs. Belle Rosen: You see, swimming through corridors and up and down stairwells I'm the only one trained to do things like that.

Linda Rogo: Will you shut up?

Mr. Manny Rosen: Something must have happened to them. I tell you. Belle would have signalled!

Detective Michael Rogo: Okay. That does it. I'm going through to find out what's happened.

Linda Rogo: Oh no you're not! You'll drown too!

Mr. Manny Rosen: Let me go, Mr Rogo. It's my wife!

Linda Rogo: Let him go, Mike!

Detecitve Michael Rogo: I'm going through. All of you stay put till I get back.

Elena: I do it.,

(she dives)

Laplo Valentin: She's got such guts.

Jerry: We know.

Lieutenant Pennor Smor: And more integrity than certain fascists such as you, Detective Rogo. Hmmmm. If Japanese were all monsters, why would she help us?

Droopy: You know, there's nothing fair about who lives and dies.
Detective Michael Rogo: You! Preacher! Murderer! You lying propagandist. I started to believe in your promises, that we had a chance. What chance? You took from me the only thing I ever loved in the whole world, my Linda. You monster. You and those Germans and the Japanese. You all slew her.

(he lunges, only to be restrained by the Shelbys)

Susan Shelby: Revenge poisons the soul.

Detective Michael Rogo: Die!

(he lashes with his club to get the reverend and Elena only to whack Quizo down from the ledge into a pit where he gets attacked by crocs)

Doctor Quizo: YOU KILLED ME! YOU KILLED ME!

Detective Michael Rogo: By God! What did I do?

Doctor Quizo: I just told you. You killed me.

(he gets eaten up)

Jerry: Who's the monster now?

Elena: You murdered an innocent for revenge. Revenge poisons.

Reverend Frank Scott: So what resolution should we make for the new year? It's to let God know that you have the guts and the will to do it alone. Resolve to fight for yourselves, and for others, for those you love. And that part of God within you will be fighting with you all the way.
Monsieur Ozzoc Smeroc: Well, well. Lookie here.

(the thugs surround them)

Jerry: Surprise, surprise. An ambush. A trap.

Detective Michael Rogo: What are you doing?

Manny Ronson: What's going on?

Elena@: It's obvious. Monsieur Smeroc is a crime-boss, and used Rogo to lead us to a trap.... even causing deaths to trick him into turning on us. He was the one who slew Linda.

Reverand Scott: You slew her.

Detective Michael Rogo: You?!? I trusted you. A fellow American. You played me. You lied to me all along. You used me.

Droopy: So much for American purity. Face it. Americans are no different from Germans, Japanese or Italians.

Older Elena: We survived... yes. But not all of us. Some died. And mostly because they messed up. Especially poor Rogo. We warned him not to act on revenge and prejudice, but he chose to ignore us.... and paid a terrible price for his arrogance. We only survived coz Reverand Scott knew which was more important. He sacrificed his life so we could leave. He showed me there was hope for the world. Yep. Hope which helped us on.
