Jerry Mouse- orange mouse
Tuffy Mouse- grey mouse, Jerry's Ward; In this movie, he lives in the Farm with Tom, Jerry and Cherie.
Caractacus Potts- An absent-minded and eccentric but heroic, jolly, wise, and loyal man. Brown-haired with a chinstripe.
Truly Scrumptious- Caractacus's love interest and eventual wife. An intelligent, educated, opinionated woman, the daughter of a wealthy industrialist. She is pragmatic in her approach to life, and is not afraid to get involved in a situation others might overlook. She is a capable martial artist and mechanical engineer as well as a singer and dancer. Ginger-haired.

Grandpa Bungie Potts- A retired colonel and Caractacu's dad. An eccentric, bold, kindly, jolly, and wise man. Grey-haired with a walrus-moustache.
Chop - A chimp who acts as Bungie Pott's butler. He tends to worry about him. A good soul.
Butch Dog- Droopy Dog's co-star
Droopy Dog- a droopy but noble bulldog, In this movie; he's butler to Grandpa Potts.
Cherie Mouse- Jerry Mouse's love interest
Baron Bomburst- An iron-fisted man who leads Vulgaria and seeks to own a flying car. Blond with grey streaks and a Van Dyke moustache.
Baroness Bomburst- Baron Bombust's iron-fisted wife who views kids as vermin.
Sammy- A toymaker. Noble, wise, jolly, and loyal. A cynic who became a believer thanks to the heroes. Auburn-haired with a handlebar-moustache.
Lord Scrumptious- Truly's dad who owns an industry. Gruff but well-meaning. Revealed to'd been a brigadier and brother to Grandpa Potts.
McWolf - A sly wolf. On this movie, he is the Child-Catcher who hunts children.
Tin, Pan and Alley- three Siamese Cats. On this movie, they act as spies for the Baron.
Barney Bear- a big brown bear. On this movie, he acts as caretaker for the kids in hiding.

Tom: DOGS! WHY DID IT NEED TO BE DOGS?!?

McWolf: Toymaker. If you;re lying and hiding kids, you get it. The Baroness will have your teeth for a necklace, and your eyeball for earrings.
McWolf: I don't trust a man who makes toys in a land where children are forbidden.
McWolf: There are children here somewhere. I can smell them.
Truly Scrumptious: What an unusual car.

Jeremy: Daddy made it.

Truly Scrumptious: [laughs] Oh? And it actually goes?

Jemima: It's called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Truly Scrumptious: That's a curious name for a motorcar.

Jemima: But that's the sound it makes. Listen.

Professor Pok: We'd been here for a long time. So long.

Grandpa Potts: Oh.

Professor Pok: Times were better back in the old days. Before the Bombursts took over. Oh.

Droopy: Times were better before the Bombursts. The good old days of freedom and peace. Before the dark days. Before the Bombursts.
Jerry: Stop. Stay away from the strange wolf. It's a trap.
Jerry: It's my fault. I failed the kids when they needed us the most.
Truly Scrumptious: [referring to helping the children] It's a beautiful dream Caractacus, but... I don't see how it's gonna help them.

[Truly looks at the children around them and Caractacus stands up]

Caracticus Potts: [confident] Do you know what we're gonna do? We're gonna get up into that castle!

Toymaker: [incredulous] It is impossible!

Droopy: Nothing is impossible.

Jerry: Well said.

Caracticus Potts: [confident] Well, we'll see.

[Caractacus runs up to a large water channel and looks at the children watching]

Caracticus Potts: [loud and clear] Now, everybody listen to me! You wanna get out of here, don't you?

[the children cheer and Caractacus moves behind the water channel]

Caracticus Potts: [loud and clear] Tomorrow is Baron Bomburst's birthday, yes?

[the children boo with their thumbs down]

Caracticus Potts: [proud and confident] Well, we're gonna give him a birthday party he'll never forget!

[the children cheer and gather around as Caractacus makes the plan]
