Tom and Jerry: Gone Snow-Crazy is an animated holiday-themed fantasy comedy short film starring Tom Cat, Jerry Mouse, Tuffy Mouse, and the Rankin/Bass character Frosty the Snowman. This is the 166th cartoon in the Tom and Jerry series, jointly produced by Turner Entertainment Co. and Warner Bros. Animation in association with Rankin/Bass Productions, and directed by Spike Brandt and Tony Cervone, with the animation and sound effects provided by the Japanese companies, and with additional animation by South Korea's Digital eMation. It is a spoof-adaptation of the Gumby Adventures short Gone Clayzy from Art Clokey's Premavision (formerly known as Clokey Productions) with its screenplay written by David Bleiman.

The short will be announced for development, and for its release as a bonus cartoon, attached to the Digital, Blu-Ray and DVD releases of Tom and Jerry: Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July.

Summary

When Frosty's magic silk hat comes off his head and starts to run amuk after his accidental falling from the ice block tower, Tom, Jerry and Tuffy (the mouse elf) must fight it before returning it to Frosty and make their snow friend "all-living" again.

Plot

In the Christmas tree forest at the North Pole, Frosty climbs to the top of a huge tower of ice blocks with his belly-whopping/flying abilities, much to Tom and Jerry's amazement. Unfortunately, he immediately falls off and lands on his head, flattening his magic silk hat. A little tooting from his corncob pipe, and the hat pops back up to its previous shape, only to be bouncing off Frosty's head who then quickly catches it. But suddenly, the hat become a demonic sentient being, and free itself from Frosty's hands, causing him to turn back to being a lifeless snowman with coal eyes. Tom and Jerry attempts to recapture the hat, but it has retained some of Frosty's magical powers and chases the cat and mouse duo around, unleashing its various, destructive spells. Fortunately, Tuffy whistles from the top of the ice tower, and call for Tom and Jerry to climb up to them. Tom and Jerry leads the hat to the tower, and together with Tuffy, tricks it into jumping off, back onto Frosty's head. By then, Frosty is instantly brought back to life, and everything is right again, except for Tom and Jerry who passed out from exhaustion. Tuffy looks back to Frosty, who then stares at the viewers and shrugs.
