Tom and Jerry: Around the World in 80 Days is a Warner Bros Movie based on the novel by Jules Verne.

Plot[]

Tom and Jerry get involved with Mr Phineas Fogg and his servant Passpatu as well as the plucky scientist Jacque as they go on a journey around the world in 80 days. They go on a journey which would lead them to many dangers.

Characters[]

  • Phineas Fogg: A well-mannered, well-read gentleman who is loyal to his friends and always true to his word. Brunette with a balbo. Ever the gentleman, he eschews violence of any form whenever possible, but is never without his cane-sword, which is all he needs to defend himself and others. Willy Fog is a member of the Reform Club in London and is challenged to travel around the world in 80 days; prior to this, he had not travelled for several years.
  • Jacques: An Indian-born French lady. A scientist who becomes Phineas' girlfriend and eventual wife. Blonde. A sass, altruistic, loyal, jolly, honorable, and wise soul. A medic, martial artist, tracker, artist, singer, and dancer. She wields kunais on a bandolier, a kelwar sword, a jambiya dagger, and bolas. She can do some yoga to scan auras.
  • Passpatu: A French man who is butler to Phineas Fogg. Reluctant but noble, loyal, jolly, and clever. Ginger-haired with a goatee.,
  • Nutsy: A pygmy orangutan who befriends Passpatu after he frees him from a circus on England. An eccentric, noble, jolly, wise, and loyal soul.
  • Mecpy: A rhesus monkey who is Jacques's companion. Sassy, gentle, jolly, sarcastic, loyal, and wise. A capble martial artist and healer.
  • Brigadier Corny: A Briton member of the Reform Club and an old bud to Phineas Fogg who helps them in India. A noble, just, loyal, jolly, wise, and eccentric man. Red-haired with grey streaks and a walrus-moustache. He wields a cane-sword, a revolver, and a dirk.
  • Colonel Samuel Garreck: A Welsh member of the Reform Club as well as an old bud to Phineas Fogg and Brigadier Corny who helps them in India. A noble, wise, just, loyal, jolly, stubborn, and eccentric man. Brunette with grey streaks and a chin-curtain. He wields an afkarena sword, a jambiya dagger, a revolver, and bolas.
  • Captain Poug: A Mongolian captain who helps the group on India and China. A noble, just, loyal, jolly, and eccentric man. Dark-haired with a braided beard. He wields a Turko-Mongol sabre, a Mongolian longbow and arrows, a revolver, a Mongol knife, a flanged mace, and a guandao spear. He is talented with fiddle-playing, throat-singing, and storytelling.
  • Professor Jog Smith: An eccentric, altruistic, intrepid, and honorable scientist from Salisbury who helps the group on India. Red-haired with a balbo. He wields a jian sword, a meteor-hammer, two tessan fan, a shotgun, a revolver, and a tanto knife.
  • Puspeok: Jog Smith's red panda-companion who he freed from poachers. An eccentric, noble, just, and jolly.
  • Ferp: Captain Poug's falcon-companion.
  • Musyop: A Chinese-Indian merchant who travels with the group from India to China. Black-haired with a goatee.
  • Droopy: A gloomy but just basset hound. On this movie, he is a member of the Reform Club and a doctor who is part of Phineas Fogg's group.
  • Sergeant-Major McWeo: A Scotsman soldier and Corny's companion who helps the group in India. Rash, hot-headed, gruff and cocky but noble, jolly, loyal, and just. Red-haired with a horseshoe-moustache. He wields a rocket-launcher, a club, a machete, and a revolver. He is talented with playing bagpipes and yodelling.
  • Mocwer; McWeo's sheepdog. A fairly dimwitted by enthusiastic, noble, loyal, and jolly soul.
  • Jengo: An albino Asian elephant who helps the group in India. A wise, benevolent, valiant, honorable, jolly, and loyal soul. He dwells on the Himalayan Mountains. He knows India, Nepal, Burman, Siam, Vietnam, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, and Korea as he knows his tail-hair. He eats plants, fruit, and vegetables... and shows a sweet tooth with sweets.
  • Shencer: A snowy tigress who helps the group in India. A noble, just, wise, loyal, and jolly soul. An old bud to Jengo.
  • Veropo: An old rhino who helps the group in India. A wise, noble, just, sarcastic, jolly and loyal soul. An old bud to Jengo.
  • Popo: A crested porcupine who helps the group in India. Fussy and reluctant but noble, loyal, and wise. He enjoys things being done properly. An old bud to Jengo.
  • Puwop: A peacock who helps the group in India. Noble, wise, jolly, just, and honorable. An old bud to Jengo.
  • Bepwep: A grizzly bear the group met in North America. A gruff but noble, just, jolly, wise, and honorable soul.
  • Bourik: A leading member to some beavers in North America. Firm but fair.
  • Mouriko: A moose who helps the group in North America. Noble, wise, jolly, optimisitic, loyal, and honorable.

  • Chief Pewerkep: Leader to some Indians who help the group. A wise, benevolent, gallant, honorable, and jolly soul.
  • Berok: One of Pewerkep's warriors. Gruff but honorable, wise, noble, and loyal.
  • Princess Eagwer: Chief Pewerkep's daughter. A feisty, altruistic, loyal, jolly, and honorable soul. She wields a spear, a dagger worn on a belt aroudn her torso, and a longbow and arrows.
  • Ceo: A dromedary camel who helps the group in Egypt. A gruff and rude but noble, jolly, loyal, and clever soul.
  • Imock: High priest of Kali's Temple. An Indian man with grey streaks on black hair and a braided beard on his head.
  • Kali: The goddess of love and death for India. She is shown on some mirages caused by Tom and Jerry being drugged by the priests.
  • Chief Khepkeo: Leader to an enemy tribe who'd been on war for territory with Pewerkep's tribe and who strike the train to kidnap Phineas Fogg for his knowledge to gain an advantage.
