Tobias Mordecai "Toby" Brooks is a former high school student, former California Ninja at Ca Frost Science Academy High, the current college student and the ninja, and Rochelle's older twin brother. He is both one of the two main characters and a main protagonist of Toby and Rochelle: 9th Grade Ninja Twins and Toby and Rochelle: The 10th Grade Ninja Twins Movie, one of the three main protagonists in Toby and Rochelle: A New Beginning and Teenagers vs. Pirates, one of the two tritagonists Toby and Rochelle: The Meltdown, one of the two tetartagonists in Teenagers from Space, one of the two main protagonists in The Brooks and the Barnyard, one of the three deuteragonists in Dawn of the Dinosaurs, the main protagonist in Toby and Rochelle: The Final Graduation, and the deuteragonist in Rise of the College Twins franchise.

Biography

Early Life

Toby was born five minutes before his twin Rochelle, and the two were raised together in Los Angeles, California. Toby has shared many events with his sister Rochelle, being implied to be each others' sole friend back in Los Angeles, where they attended Los Angeles Elementary School.

As seen in "Regular Show: The Movie", Toby first became friends with Howard after finding him funny in Kindergarten. Despite this, in "Don" he seemed to favor Howard's younger sister, Delilah, spending lots of time with her and leaving Howard in his shadow.

Toby has had broken back teeth about since he was 5 years old. As revealed in, his tooth is healed back to normal into his perfect teeth since he was twelve during the dentist.

When he and Rochelle were twelve years old before summer starts, his family moved to Los Angeles County, California into their grandparents' big house.

As shown in "Maxin' and Relaxin'", he went through a lot of embarrassing moments, such as falling from a high height on stage during a play, and getting a saxophone mouthpiece stuck in his throat. Thanks to his mom however, he managed to survive these situations.

Toby is an alumnus of Ca Frost Science Academy High School, which she attended with his sisters Rochelle, Alicia, Luan, Stella, and Tip. He and Rochelle is currently in college as of "Schooled!".

Personality

Toby is daring, fearless, confident, rebellious, wise, defendant, charming, protective, and a clever high school kid who tries to fit in with the popular crowd and be cool. There are many times where he engages in dubious acts that could possibly get him into a lot of trouble, like crashing Bash's party ("Pool of Boogers"), spitting into a volcano ("Monster Dump"), and using the Ninja powers to fix a science project ("Dawn of the Friendship Rule"). Often he forgets that his actions have consequences which can result in major problems for himself and the people around him. As time goes on, though, he realizes when the situation is his fault, and takes responsibility to fix it as much as possible.

Toby is a male and one of the main twin-characters with a height of 5'8 and the weight of 74 kg (same as Ben Schwartz), white american-like skin, freckles on his cheeks, black hair, and dark brown eyes.

When he was younger, it was shown that he had an overbite, with a prominent chipped front tooth, noticeable bags around his eyes, and the same freckles on his cheeks.

In "Come Sale Away," a picture showed that he has no broken back teeth anymore after since he was 12, but used to wear braces. He has his hair combed backwards when he was young (only aged as 13-year-old).

In the future, he has 5am shadow beard.

In his prototype design and ER pilot, his skin was light, his hair was dark brown, his eyes are blue, he had an overbite, with a prominent chipped front tooth and freckles on his cheeks.

Toby does not show signs of any form of hatred towards it, but simply takes it as a normal thing that happens all the time. He thinks Bash is a "schoob," but takes no particular steps to stop him from bullying other students like Bucky.

Toward Romance

Toby doesn't seem to think much about romance, probably due in part to being busy as a best friend, a student, and the Ninja. In "Sorcerer in Love," he pretends to be concerned that he and Howard didn't have dates, which ends with them laughing about it. Sometimes, he even finds the idea of romance horrific. For example, in "Stank'd through the Future," when Dickie and Miss Ringwald kissed, Toby shows disgust (likely due to their age) and leaves. Mrs. Driscoll's displays of affection towards the bones of Mr. Driscoll also creep him out.

However, Toby has shown interest in a number girls so far. He has flirted with girls like the trio of girls he passed by in the hallway in "Viva El Nomicon." During "Sorcerer in Love," he was, like the other boys in the school, attracted to Amanda Levay because of her beauty, though, of course, he later discovers she's the Sorceress and had been using magic to control the boys of the school. He admits to Howard that he has, on occasion, found his sister Helen "spicy." Whenever Karen is around, Toby shows signs of having feelings for her, as in "Night of the Living Bitten" (in which he flirts with her and Debbie Kang shamelessly), in "Der Monster Klub" and in "The Ninja Identity." He thinks she's attractive and good-smelling, and rarely treats her badly. In "Sorcerer in Love 2: The Sorceress's Revenge," he blushes when she grabs his hand and allows her to hold it for a some time. In "Extreme Best First Date," Toby is shown to be well aware of the fact that Karen likes him, He then forces Rochelle to make it up to Mark and fix his relationship by going on a double date with Karen and Mark. While Karen is still mad at her at first, he understands Rochelle's conflict with Toby, stating that he has similar problems with Mark. Near the end, Toby kisses her in front of his classmates.
