Trivia[]

  • The Life Lessons Show is the only episode that is based on the fables by Aesop. It is also the only episode where Thomas does not conduct his orchestra.
  • Both the UK Thomas and the US Thomas portray the animals in the audience with their voices.
  • A short film based on the show was released before the web series premiered. It is called Thomas's Orchestral Concert. But this short reveals how the engines started to work as an orchestra with Thomas and leave the train tracks.
  • Not to mention, Thomas's Orchestral Concert acted as the show's pilot.
  • Gordon, Rebecca, and Henry are the only members of the Steam Team to not be seen in the opening act. Instead, they're shown in the segments.
  • The opening scene before the shows vary throughout each of the episodes in the series. The ending scene before the credits also vary in each episode of the series.
  • After the events of the episode The Soothing Show, the animals appear in different places after the second segment began. However, the Orchestra Concert Show episode, The Feelings Show episode, The Poem Show episode, and the episode The Symphony Show 1 were not affected by this.
  • Piano Concerto No. 1 (3rd movement) by Johannes Brahms plays as the opening piece in place of "Piano Concerto No. 1" by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in The Symphony Show.
  • One of the episodes (The Feel Good Show) don't open up with Thomas arriving on the stage. As such, Emily reads the words "Thomas's Classical Adventures". After Emily finishes speaking, the curtains open up and the song Concerto for Piano & Orchestra No. 1 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is played after the curtains are open. Then after the piece plays and the clapping starts up, Thomas is heard saying, "The Feel Good Show", before the audience is shown.
  • In The Soothing Show, Christmas Show 2, Orchestra Concert Show, and the Symphony Show 1, the animal audience falls to sleep after the last performance is done and Thomas talks to them.
  • Only 4 episodes of this show have been DVD releases.
  • Rheneas has the voice of the UK Thomas whenever he introduces a piece of classical music.
  • The only episodes to involve the animal audience in chairs were The Poem Show, The Feelings Show, The Orchestra Concert Show, and The Symphony Show 1. The rest of the episodes had the animals being seated on the ground.
  • Before the next piece, each episode (except for The Poem Show, The Soothing Show, The Life Lessons Show, The Recap Show 1, and The Recap Show 2) has Thomas explaining to the animal audience what he likes about classical music.
  • One of the Troublesome Trucks is one of the orchestra performers, playing French horn.
  • Thomas talks when he first steps onstage in Symphony Show 1, Famous Composers Show, and the World Adventure Show 1. This does not happen in other episodes.
  • All episodes use "Wiegenlied", Op. 49, No. 4 by Johannes Brahms as the end credits music. The animals are shown exiting the theatre in History Of Music Show & The Poem Show only.
  • Thomas's Classical Adventures: The World Dance Show, Thomas's Classical Adventures: The Rhythm Show, and Thomas's Classical Adventures: The Life Lessons Show are the only episodes to not show any of the characters during the ending credits.
  • This web series also has two special episodes, which serve as the show's anniversary episodes: The Anniversary Show 1, which was to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the original Thomas And Friends series (the books, not the 1984 television show), and The Anniversary Show 2, which was to celebrate the then 41st anniversary of the 1984 television show Thomas & Friends.
  • Bertie the bus and the other engines are seen playing orchestra instruments, and Thomas is the one conducting them, despite the fact that the engines do not have any hands. Plus, no drivers are seen in the engines (or Bertie) throughout this web series whatsoever. In fact, this is the only web series where no humans are seen on either the engines or Bertie.
  • The Troublesome Trucks are also affected by this since they do not have drivers, however.
  • Unlike Classical Baby, the name of the work and the composer's name are read aloud by the engines.
  • The episode The Recap Show 2 serves as the show's season finale.
  • Confetti and streamers fall in the Orchestra Concert Show episode after one of the segments finished. In this case, it was Pines Of The Appian Way by Ottorino Respighi.
  • The clapping after the opening act finishes is different in the episode Thomas's Classical Adventures: The Orchestra Concert Show 2.
  • Each episode follows Thomas having a brief wraparound moment with the animal audience before a segment is played.
  • Jace is not in the crowd after he jumps onstage as the orchestra plays the last notes of Festive Overture by Dmitri Shostakovich in The Anniversary Show episode.
  • The animals have different looks in The Poem Show and The Recap Show 2.
  • Originally, Gordon was going to play a French horn in the orchestra.
  • The Life Lessons Show, The Recap Show 2, and The Poem Show are the only episodes where Concerto for Piano & Orchestra No. 1 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky does not play as opening music.
