The Velociraptor Warrior is an American animated television series created by Bryan Andrews and Rob Renzetti, aired on Nickelodeon from 1999 til 2005. This page shows the tropes.

    • The series has Rob Paulsen (Jason), Jess Harnell (Shunky) and Tress MacNellie (Brielle). The three voice actors previously voiced the Animaniacs (Yakko, Wakko and Dot).
    • The series has Tom Kenny (Pterry), Bill Fagerbakke (Leader Rumble) and Rodger Bumpass (Metalhorn). Those three actors voiced together in SpongeBob SquarePants, which came out in the same year as this (SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward).

    • The series, when first entered production, was originally planned to include the blood. However, to meet the Nickelodeon standards and family-friendliness, the blood was completely removed.
    • Originally, Velocity were to held guns instead of the trademarked weapon, but it was scrapped due to it being off-settling for kids.
    • The series was originally going to be titled The Legend of Velocity, and even simply Velocity before sticking to its name its known today.
    • The Dark Humans were originally planned to be the main antagonists and the main focus on the series would have been Velocity slaying them. However, Andrews decided that Velocity facing variety of different villains would be more fun, so they sticked to that.
    • Mary Kay Bergman was originally conceived to voice Kayna. However, she dropped the role and Kath Soucie took her place.
