The Sallis Corporation (Doing business as Peter Sallis Ltd) is a British media company founded by Peter Sallis. It was formed as a division of ITC Entertainment (having bought out the company in 1959 and renaming it from Peter Sallis Productions) before Sallis led a management buyout in 1990.
Since 2011, the entire Peter Sallis Kids & Family's catalog is currently being distributed by 9 Story Distribution International and Studio 100 (which acquired the distribution rights from Chorion and 7% of the company during its splitting up each back when 9 Story Media Group was 9 Story Entertainment) while the Teen & Adult catalog under Sallis Vartino and films is distributed by Fremantle and Studiocanal respectively (the latter also handles home-media releases to The Works of Peter Sallis).
Unlike most British animated shows that uses American actors for a North American audience, Peter Sallis himself preferred using Canadian actors more.
