The Powerpuff Girls and the Alien Invaders is a 2032 American direct-to-video computer-animated science-fiction superhero film based on the 2016 Cartoon Network reboot series The Powerpuff Girls, directed by Nick Jennings and Bob Boyle and produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Sony Pictures Animation with the animation service provided by Mikros Image.
It is the first Powerpuff Girls film to be fully animated in stylized CGI instead of the regular traditional 2D animation, the film stars Amanda Leighton, Kristen Li, Natalie Palamides, Tom Kane, Tom Kenny and Brock Baker, along with new additions such as Keanu Reeves as King Hodda and Selena Gomez as Queen Zulnor.
Taking place after the events of the reboot series, the Powerpuff Girls have been fighting crime and saving the world before bedtime. Suddenly, the girls have been abducted by Alien Invaders and taken to Planet 51. So it's up for Professor Utonium, The Mayor and Sara Bellum to go on a mission to save the girls and find a way to get back to earth and save Townsville together from destroying the city by King Hodda.
