The Pikes is a Nickelodeon original animated television series. It was created by Erik Wiese and Cynthia True of The Mighty B! fame.
Summary[]
Set in an alternate version of the 1990s, a nuclear family from Plain Oak consisting of a bumbling man who works at a high school art teacher, his ditzy, loving Madonna-obsessed wife who works as a fashion designer and their three children: a rebellious, angst-ridden teen, a precociously intelligent child prodigy and an innocently optimistic girl.

- Rodney Pike (voiced by Diedrich Bader) - the patriarch of the family, the husband of Rodney and the father of Teddy, Nathan and Claudia. He works at a high school art teacher at Plain Oak High School.
- Stephanie Pike (voiced by Dannah Phirman) - the matriarch of the family, the wife of Stephanie and the mother of Teddy, Nathan and Claudia. She is obsessed with Madonna and works as a fashion designer.
- Theodora "Teddy" Pike (voiced by Melissa Joan Hart) - the older sister of Nathan and Claudia and the daughter of Rodney and Stephanie. She is an angst-ridden rebel who often listens to alternative rock and grunge music. She is 15 years old and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 5.
- Nathan Pike (voiced by Jessica Chaffin) - the younger brother of Teddy, the older brother of Claudia and the son of Rodney and Stephanie. He is a precocious genius who is very intelligent. His favorite book is the Atlas Shrugged. He is 12 years old.
- Claudia Pike (voiced by Larisa Oleynik) - the younger sister of Teddy and Nathan and the daughter of Rodney and Stephanie. She is very optimistic, innocent and caring who loves playing hopscotch, eating Dunkaroos, and watching Saturday morning cartoons on the television. She is 8 years old.

- Russell Sanderson (voiced by Danny Tamberelli) - a classmate of Teddy's whom she had a crush on. While older than her, she is a high school jock who is interested in playing as the quarterback.
- LaToya Princeton (voiced by Cree Summer) - the token black girl and Claudia's friend. She is tomboyish, wears overalls and loves water balloon fights. She is the daughter of parapsychologist Dr. Amelia Princeton.
- Dr. Amelia Princeton (voiced by Jackée Harry) - a parapsychologist and mother of LaToya. She believes in the paranormal like psychokinesis, telepathy, UFOs, ghosts, the Loch Ness monster and the theory of Atlantis.
- Beatrice Swingley (voiced by Amy Poehler) - a Blossom Russo-esque bubbly "manic pixie dream girl" who is a school reporter and part of the Plain Oak High School school council. She is part of the Plain Oak Paper, a school newspaper. According to Teddy, she has a "horrible" taste in fashion which includes wearing slouched socks over her tights, tacky hats with flowers in front of them and silk blouses with denim shorts.
- Barnaby Swingley (voiced by Matt Besser) - Beatrice's twin brother who is a huge nerd. He loves comic books, action figures, science fiction, fantasy and roleplaying games.
- Mr. Barrington (voiced by Paul Lieberstein) - the shy and laid back school councilor who cares about the safety of his students

- The '90s: An alternate version, yeah.
- '90s Hair: While set in the '90s, Teddy has a Rachel hairstyle, Nathan wears the bowlcut, Russell wears curtains, LaToya wears afro puffs and her mother, Amelia wear cornrows.
- Affectionate Parody: The whole entire show definitely mocks '90s Dom Coms like Married...with Children, The Simpsons and Family Guy.
- Beatrice is also a parody of Blossom Russo parody.
