Plot Summary[]

It's been a couple of years ever since Dorothy Gale (played by Keke Palmer) became a super star singer and became good friends with Kermit and his Muppet friends, but also when the cyclone came to Kansas Trailer Park. Dorothy still speaks about her journey quest in the universe of Oz which troubles her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry who thinks she's fantasizing. In their yard, she finds a key with the Oz signiature that the Wizard (played by Jeffrey Tambor) had sent to her. Aunt Em takes her right over to Dr. Worley (played by Sam) for electrotherapy, leaving her under the care of Nurse Wilson (played by Miss Poogy). Just as Dorothy's about to receive treatment, the asylum is struck by lightning and the power fails. Dorothy's finally freed from her restraints by a mysterious young lady pig (played by Miss Piggy) who tells her that Dr Worley's machines damage the patients. They escape, but with Nurse Wilson (played by Miss Poogy) in pursuit, and fall right into a river. Dorothy clambers right aboard a chicken coop, but the young lady pig (played by Miss Piggy) disappears.

Dorothy wakes up in Oz with her chicken friend, Billina (1 of the Muppet chickens), who can now speak. They find the Emerald City in ruins and its citizens (including the Tin Thing (played by Gonzo), the Wizard (played by Jeffrey Tambor), the Wizard's Assistant (played by Scooter), the Emerald City Guard (played by Sam), the now turned good Flying Monkeys (played by Sweetums, Angel Marie, Johnny, Sal, Black Dog, Calico, Old Tom, Bobo, Spotted Dick, Aretha and Crazy Harry) Toto (played by Pepe) and the Cowardly Lion (played by Fozzie)) turned into stone statues. Cornered by Wheelers (played by Uncle Deadly, Andy and Randy) menacing people with wheels instead of hands and feet, they escape right into another room that Dorothy unlocks with the Oz key and they meet a mechanical old man named Tik-Tok (played by Pops) who explains that the Scarecrow (played by Kermit) has been captured by the Nome King (played by Constantine) who's responsible for the Emerald City's destruction.

The 3 of them visit Mombi (also played by Miss Poogy) who collects heads and decides to imprison Dorothy to take hers away. In a locked room at the top of Mombi's castle, Dorothy, Billina (played by 1 of the Muppet Chickens), and Tik-Tok (played by Pops) meet Jack Pumpkinhead (played by himself) who explains to them that he was brought to life by Mombi's Powder of Life. They assemble a creature with furniture, rope, and the head of a moose-like critter called the Gump (played by Mickey Moose). Dorothy steals the Powder of Life from Mombi (played by Miss Poogy), but awakes her other heads (also played by Denise, Mildred Huxtetter and Wanda. A young lady pig named Ozma (played by Miss Piggy) in the mirror, guides Dorothy all the way back to her good friends where she uses the powder to bring the Gump (played by Mickey Moose) to life. He flies them right across the Deadly Desert to the Nome King's (Constantine's) mountain. Mombi (played by Miss Poogy) sends the Wheelers after them, but they're stopped by the Deadly Desert.

In his underground lair, the Nome King (played by Constantine) tells Dorothy that he's turned the Scarecrow (played by Kermit) into an ornament. He allows Dorothy and her good friends 3 guesses each to identify which ornament's the Scarecrow (played by Kermit), but if they fail, they'll become ornaments themselves. The Gump (played by Mickey Moose), Jack (played by himself) and Tik-Tok (played by Pops), all fail frequently. The Nome King (played by Constantine) gives Dorothy the chance to return back home to Kansas Trailer Park ever since he's got her discarded silver slippers, but Dorothy refuses.

While Dorothy makes her guesses in the ornament room, Mombi (played by Miss Poogy) arrives. The Nome King (played by Constantine), furious at having allowed Dorothy to escape, imprisons her in a cage. On her final guess, Dorothy locates the Scarecrow (played by Kermit), and realizes that other people from Oz were turned into green ornaments as well. Right after she finds Jack (played by himself) and the Gump (played by Mickey Moose), the enraged Nome King (played by Constantine) eats the Gump's (played by Mickey Moose) couch body. He prepares to eat Jack (played by himself), but Billina (played by 1 of the Muppet Chickens), hiding in Jack's head, lays 1 of her chicken eggs and it falls right into the Nome King's (Constantine's) mouth. Just as chicken eggs are poison to nomes, the Nome King (played by Constantine) and his subterranean kingdom crumble apart. Dorothy finds the silver slippers and wishes for the entire group to be returned to a restored Emerald City. When they get there, they mourn the absence of Tik-Tok (played by Pops) 'il Billina (played by 1 of the Muppet Chickens) notices a green medal stuck on 1 of the Gump's (Mickey Moose's) antlers and Dorothy finally restores him.

At the celebration party, Dorothy's asked to be the Queen of Oz, but she refuses while saying that she must return back home to Kansas Trailer Park. She learns that the young lady pig who helped her escape is Ozma (also played by Miss Piggy), the rightful ruler of Oz who had been enchanted by Mombi (played by Miss Poogy). Ozma takes her place right on the throne and Dorothy hands over the silver slippers. Billina (played by 1 of the Muppet Chickens) agrees to stay in Oz and Ozma (played by Miss Piggy) sends Dorothy home to Kansas Trailer Park while promising that Dorothy's welcome to return.

Back in Kansas Trailer Park, Dorothy's entire family finds her asleep on a bench. Aunt Em reveals that Dr. Worley's (Sam's) hospital was struck by lightning and burned down and Dr. Worley (played by Sam) passed away while trying to save his machines. They see Nurse Wilson (played by Miss Poogy) who's locked away in a cage on a police buggy. In the Kansas trailer now complete, Dorothy sees Billina (played by 1 of the Muppet Chickens) and Ozma (played by Miss Piggy) through her bedroom mirror and she goes right out to perform with Kermit and his Muppet friends at Aunt Em's Diner.
