(At the jungles of India, a team of scientists are studying its ecosystem. Among them were a couple and their son whose name was Mowgli.)
Ally: Amazing, this ecosystem is like a giant ark.
Nadia: Indeed, it is if almost every creature that ever would extinct, came to this place to avoid extinction. As if it was untouched by time itself.
(They saw a herd of Gallimimus running in the distance, them emerging from the tree line is a T-Rex that grabs one with its teeth. The weaken dinosaur calls for help but the predatory beast shakes it back and forth killing it and then eats it. One of the teams’ photographer named James takes pictures of the attack.)
James: It’s amazing. Just like a bird hunting its prey. Like a hawk would be down and killing a random animal.
Jordan: You got that right.
Alex: So long as we keep our distance from the animals, they don’t bother us. Keep your nose clean, and no trouble will follow. That’s what my grandfather‘s philosophy is.
Nadia: Alex, we’re here to study these creatures from a distance. As well as study their habitat. We don’t need to destroy everything.
Jordan Yeah, you don't wanna disturb something.
(As the team chatter, they are unknowningly stalked by a tiger named Shere Khan. Indeed, Shere Khan hates humans because he sees them as pests. But his hatred runs deeper, his ancestor was once the law keeper of the jungle, back before man even existed, but when the said tiger killed two bucks fighting over something so trivial if not foolish, he flew in a fit of rage and killed them by accident. And when the beasts of the jungle turned on one another then fear was proclaimed by the first elephant Tha, she spoke of it. Then when fear was found in the most unlikely form a human mainly a caveman from the Stone Age. Shere Khan signals two of his Velociraptors to flank the area, which they do.)
Raptor 1: “(Squawks, squawks).”
Raptor 2: “(Squawks and barks. Barks, barks, barks).”
(Shere Khan waits for the moment to strike. On a table a man is playing self solitaire with actual cards, but with India addition, and the king card is the tiger card. Then Jordan approaches the man.)
Henry: “Gah! You startled me. Wear a bell or something.”
Jordan: “I still see you’re playing with solitaire. Why not use the computer version instead of these cards?”
Henry: “I prefer the old-fashioned way. Plus, you can’t get cards like these from a computer.”
Jordan: “touché.” So, what do we do now?
(They rush to retrieve their weapons but soon the whole camp was kill, blood stained the grown and jungle fuana)
Henry: What happened here?
(Before he could find anything the team was killed but small infant tracks tried to escape the slaughter.)
Jordan: I don't think what that means, do you?
(The child must be alive so he goes to find a weapon so he can search for the child. Elsewhere, the child is wandering through the jungle. Eventually he reaches a den of wolves, he saw the said wolves sleep he crawls up and starts to suckle on the female wolf’s teat, next to the other wolf cubs, feeding on her milk. The two wolf parents woke up and are surprised to see a man-cub.)
Male wolf: “It’s a man. A man’s cub.”
Female: “How little, how naked. He is feeding on my milk, just like our own cubs are.”
Male wolf: “He’s certainly a hungry little one.”
Female wolf: “Isn’t he? He sucks strongly too. A bit too strong even with little teeth.”
Male wolf: What should we do with him, Raksha?
Raksha: I say we keep him, Moti.
(A shadow looms and blocks the entryway it was Shere Khan.)
Moti: Shere Khan. What does Shere Khan need?
Shere Khan: My prey A man’s cub escaped me! I slew his people, and give him to me!
Moti: The wolves are a free people. We take orders from Akela the head of the pack. Not from some striped cattle killer. The cub is ours to kill if we choose.
Shere Khan: You choose and you do not choose?! You will pay for your insolence.
(Before Shere Khan can attack, Moti growled at the tiger. Shere Khan gritted his teeth at Moti before leaving.)
Raksha: Do you really mean we can keep him?
Moti: You've already decided to keep him, haven't you, dear?
Raksha: Oh yes. I want to.
(Later, the wolf pack gather at the meeting held by Akela.)
Akela: So you want to adopt this man-cub into our pack?
Wolf 1: Man is not a wolf!
Wolf 2: He’s bound to cause a lot of trouble!
Moti: Shere Khan was hunting him. I believe his parents are dead.
Akela: Yes, but Shere Khan would cause trouble.
Wolf 3: Let’s throw the boy in the river!
Moti: *growls at the wolf*
Akela: Let’s make a discussion in coordinates with the law. As you know, he must be recommended by at least two members of the pack. Not counting his adopted parents of course. Before we can even consider accepting him as one of us, who will recommend him? Speak up!
Baloo: Akela, I don’t belong to the pack, but I am teacher of the cubs. I have had a great deal of humans. That they are very smart and capable of adapting. And he will be no threat to any of us. As you can clearly see, he has no fangs and dull claws. If anything, he is more harmless than dangerous.
Wolves: *grumbles*
Akela: Silence! Baloo is a good friend. He teaches our pups the law of the pack. But we must need another recommendation.
Bagheera: May I speak?
Akela: Bagheera, what brings you here?
Bagheera: Yes, I know. I have no right to speak at your meeting, but according to the law, the wolf pack is entitled to accept a gift of fresh game in exchange for a stranger.
Akela: That is correct, Bagheera.
Raksha: What will you do with the man-cub?
Bagheera: I am sure Baloo will take care of him. Won't you, Baloo?
Baloo: Who, me?
Bagheera: Will you trade him for a water buffalo?
Wolves: *mutters*
Akela: Be quiet. But why, Bagheera?
Bagheera: I'm afraid his parents have perished.
Akela: Did you catch them?
Bagheera: No. But I failed to help them. I couldn’t save them in time.
Wolves: *gasps*
Baloo: Now, listen everyone, Bagheera was trying to stop Shere Khan from attacking humans in the jungle. And you know why he did it, don’t you?
Bagheera: I did what I felt like!
Baloo: Now Bagheera, you don’t have to be so modest. What I said is quite right.
Bagheera: What’s your answer? Do you accept the exchange or not?
Moti: Akela?
Akela: I’m listening. Bagheera is a good friend who acted for the good of the jungle. We will spare the life of the cub for his offer of game. Anyone who objects can come up here.
(Everyone was silent.)
Akela: Now this man-cub can be accepted as a true member of our pack. But what will we call him?
Raksha: I will call him Mowgli, the Little Frog. Go on Mowgli, thank Baloo and Bagheera.
(Mowgli mounts on Bagheera and rides him. Mowgli, Bagheera, Grey Brother, Akru, Sura and Black Fur ran toward a cliff as the sun rises. Mowgli walked on twos as he roams the jungle with his wolf family, he tries to climb a log but cannot, until Raksha helps him, only to fall down and starts crying, Raksha lifts him up by his diaper. Then at a small pond Bagheera watches as Mowgli, Sura, Akru, Grey Brother and Black Fur drinks from the pond. Mowgli tries mimic licking to drink but cannot, so he dunks his face into the water, only to pull his face up, Bagheera found his attempts amusing as he watched. Then Mowgli is with Baloo who manages to scoop some honey and he and Mowgli licks eating the sweet substance. Years later, Mowgli became a strong and agile boy. In the jungle, Mowgli is running with his wolf brothers.)
Akru: Hurry up.
Sura: You're falling behind, Mowgli.
Mowgli: Grey, Sura, Akru, Black Fur, you're going too fast for me!
Sura: I’m holding back as much as I can.
Akru: Come on, we’re almost there.
Grey: Come on, little brother, you can do better!
(Mowgli picks up speed, but isn't fast. As Grey, Akru, Sura and Black Fur reach the lair, Mowgli climbs up the tree.)
Mowgli: You guys can’t beat me at tree climbing.
Sura: Mowgli, if you never learn fast enough, you’ll never be a real hunter.
Akru: And if you can’t learn to be a real hunter you’ll never be a real wolf.
Raksha: Mowgli.
Mowgli: Mother, Father.
Moti: What in the world are you doing here? You're supposed to meet Bagheera.
Mowgli: Oh, I forgot. *runs off*
(Elsewhere, Mowgli is sneaking up behind a Pachycephalosaurus with Bagheera watching him. As Mowgli slowly crept closer but just as he catches it the prehistoric bird flies off causing Mowgli to fall, luckily the water from the pond broke his fall, he swims to shore.)
Bagheera: Mowgli, I’ve told you before. You must hang on tight when you’re up in a tree.
Mowgli: But Bagheera, it’s not that easy. I don’t have strong claws like you.
Bagheera: That’s enough! My time is precious, and I’m not gonna waste it listening to your complaints.
Mowgli: Well, then forget it. I’ll go practice on my own.
Baloo: I see you're having a tough time training him.
Bagheera: Tough isn’t a word for it. If you only knew.
Baloo: Why do you do it?
Bagheera: Because Mowgli insist on learning to hunt like us.
(Bagheera and Baloo looked up to see Mowgli and Drake on a tree, attempting to reach the bird.)
Bagheera: Look out, you're going to fall!
(The branch breaks, causing Mowgli to fall. Luckily, Mowgli grabs a vine, but it breaks. Then Mowgli lands on Kaa.)
Kaa: I know you're anxious to learn, but don't you think you're overdoing it? *lowers Mowgli down*
Mowgli: I'm sure glad you were there, Kaa.
Bagheera: Next time, you're going to get hurt.
Baloo: Mowgli, why do you keep trying so hard?
Mowgli: Because I wanted to learn what it means to be a wolf.
Bagheera: That's fine, but you should listen in the first place.
Baloo: Bagheera, there's no point in getting serious. Mowgli, you must understand, Bagheera only gets serious because he's worried about you.
Bagheera: Worried? Me? Why should I worry?
Mowgli: I know, I won’t do it again. Bye. *runs off*
Bagheera: Mowgli, wait! Where are you going?
Mowgli: To learn about being a wolf!
Baloo: Mowgli is learning to be a wolf.
Bagheera: I know. And that’s what worries me.
(Mowgli is with his wolf brothers and sisters, seeing a small Jackalope.)
Grey Brother: Alright, that jackalope's right there.
(Mowgli pounces and chases after the said horned rabbit.)
Grey Brother: He approach the right way from downwind.
Sura: Yes but he still has a lot to learn.
(Mowgli kept chasing the animal but isn’t getting any faster, then the tomboy of the wolf pack Lala.)
Mowgli: Not you, Lala.
Lala: I was right beside you, but of course, you never noticed.
Sura: What's going on, Mowgli?
Lala: To think that this is the son of Raksha and Moti. What a laugh.
Mowgli: Take that back! *grabs Lala*
Grey Brother: Mowgli, leave her alone.
Sura: Akela will be very angry with you.
Akela: Stop it, you two.
Akru: Now you've done it.
Lala: Grandfather.
Mowgli: Bagheera.
Akela: You know that it's against the rules of the pack to fight among yourselves.
Akru: Lala started it, she grabbed our jackalope.
Lala: What do you mean your jackalope? Since when does game belong to someone before they catch it?
Black Fur: It was ours!
Akela: Enough! If you don't stop, I'm going to lose my patience.
Bagheera: Akela, I'm sorry to interfere, but I think this would be a good time to put Mowgli to the test to see if he's worthy of becoming a member of the pack.
Akela: A test of endurance.
Mowgli: What’s a test of endurance?
Akru: No, Mowgli’s not ready for that yet!
Black Fur: Akru’s right, Mowgli hasn’t completed basics yet.
Mowgli: Bagheera?
Bagheera: Be brave and stop that whimpering.
Mowgli: But will... will I be the only one?
Bagheera: Of course not, it'll be a contest between you and that little miss know-it-all over there.
Lala: Huh? Me and him?
Bagheerah: “Yes, you have nothing to fear of yours as good as you say, you are.”
Lala: “Hu, Grandfather?”
Akela: “Are you saying you’re afraid Lala?”
Lala: “Alright I’ll do it!”
Bagheera: “Mowgli?”
Akru: “Wait! I’ll compete against Lala instead of Mowgli.”
Grey Wolf: “No! Aside from Lala, I’m the best hunter you got.”
Bagheera: “Mowgli, it’s time for you to stand up for yourself. You can’t hide behind brothers forever.”
