The Ghosts Among Us (Japanese: 田舎の怪談 : 外伝, Inaka no kaidan: Gaiden) is a 2005 survival horror game developed by Kawara/Georgie and co-published by Midway Games and New Line Cinema. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox. A simplified version for the Nintendo DS was planned but was cancelled early in development.

Set as a sequel to Moshi Kawara's 1982 film of the same name, the story focuses on a group of paranormal investigators who go to the abandoned house where the events took place in the film, only to find themselves caught in a fight for survival against the title ghosts. You play as one of 5 characters, each with their own special abilities that are upgraded to take on bigger foes. Cam Clarke and Kathy Garver both reprise their roles as survivors Kazuo and Tama respectively in the game's English version, Kawara himself also makes a cameo much like his films.

The Ghosts Among Us recieved positive reviews for it's haunting atmosphere and faithfulness to the original film, though some criticized it's repetitive gameplay. The game was a commercial success and sold over one million units across all platforms. A sequel was in the early stages of development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, but was canceled when Kawara and Nagatano sold Kawara/Georgie to Warner Bros. Games in 2009
