The Dungeon Man is an American animated musical-fantasy-comedy television series created as a different concept for Disney Channel.
Synopsis[]
Set in a fantasy world mixed with the boring and the mundane, Soren Greyskull serves as a "dungeon assessor" forced into venturing into dungeons to sense their safety for aspiring adventurers, often being thrust into misadventure and chaos through the world of Zruul and has to deal with the chaotic, maddening and nuts while inspecting dungeons and sometimes some antics outside of assessing.

- Soren Greyskull (voiced by Dan Povenmire) - a clearly stressed out of his mind aging human inspector who assesses dungeons as he often is thrust into exploring dungeons, having to deal with the rather insane and nuttiness that these dungeons have. He has access to a few different magical spells such as "Conjure Fire" or "Control Minds" but more often than not panics at the sight of chaos. He also has an ex-wife who he clearly wants nothing to do with.

- Gladys (voiced by Kimberly Brooks) - a giant and hulking but grouchy and sometimes somewhat friendly red dragon who is Soren's employer at the Red Dragon Dungeon Reviewing Company as she often sends him on quests to explore and assess dungeons as she doesn't seem to be the biggest fan of Soren or his antics, but reluctantly allows him to continue being a dungeon inspector due to him making her lots of money and gold.
- Reji (voiced by Kaiji Tang) - a dimwitted yet friendly troll and one of Soren's co-workers at the Red Dragon Dungeon Reviewing Company, as he mainly works as a janitor, but will occasionally join Soren in his tasks, despite sometimes sucking at it, also being a massive weeb, watching Mystic Crystal created anime and usually references it when joining him at dungeons, being his most common partner.
- Tridius Von Spanklestein (voiced by Jim Meskimen) - an absent-minded yet wise and reliable wizard who is one of Soren's co-workers at the Red Dragon Dungeon Reviewing Company, where he mainly works as a librarian, but will occasionally aid Soren in his work, although he is a bit rusty to do so, usually messing up the books on the world of Zruul, usually giving Soren the wrong information.
- Marena Fluer (voiced by Cristina Vee) - a naive yet more enthusiastic mermaid and one of Soren's co-workers at the Red Dragon Dungeon Reviewing Company, as she is mainly thrust into exploring water-based dungeons, as she is an open lesbian yet finds Soren to be somewhat funny at times, sometimes joining him on his quests.
- Ragnar Wolfgang (voiced by Roger Clark) - a seemingly terrifying yet actually well-meaning werewolf who is Soren's neighbor, and a sheriff in the town they reside, as he occasionally encounters him and his co-workers from Red Dragon Dungeon Reviewing Company during their inspections of dungeons, fashioning himself as a cowboy.
- Diocese Wolfgang (voiced by Ashley Tisdale) - Ragnar's bratty and annoying yet fashion savvy daughter who lives with him as she often tries to promote her fashion brand, Fur's Secret, sometimes being responsible for some of the dungeon mishaps that Soren ends up getting into, although her main focus is on fashion.
- Count Ulysses Darkblood (voiced by Will Arnett) - a scheming yet harmless and silly vampire who is a sophisticated owner of a hotel in Zruul, allowing Soren to crash in his hotel thanks to him having nowhere else to go as he usually attempts to get Soren to pay up but is somewhat friendly and has his own storied and chaotic backstory with twists and turns.
Antagonists[]
- King Chaddirck "Chad" Renevant (voiced by Sam Riegel) - a hammy and over-the-top demonic entity who had lost all of his power and is now stuck inside of the body of a teddy bear as he makes it his goal to take over Zruul and regain his strength and power, claiming to be Soren's nemesis although his schemes almost always only really minorly inconvenience him.
- Harumi Suzuki (voiced by Judy Alice Lee) - an over-the-top human thief and bandit who also happens to watch too much anime as she claims to be the greatest bandit queen in all of Zruul but more often than not her plans end up backfiring in some way, mainly thanks to her over-the-top nature making her screw things up constantly.
- Bolmynos Uren (voiced by Jason Marnocha) - a ruthless and ambitious cyclops who is "the most feared kingpin of Zruul's criminal underworld", as he often sends his mob enforcers to a series of operations taking place in dungeons, which are often foiled by Soren and his crew stepping in the way, which causes him to often throw tantrums.
- Sylvia Eisdar (voiced by Laura Bailey) - a snotty and self-loving Elven pop megastar who once dated Marena back in college as she now travels through the many cities of Zruul to showcase her fame and how everyone loves her as she sometimes schemes to get Marena back no matter what, which causes her to encounter Soren on many chances, who she thinks is just some grouchy old loser.
