With it being directed by Evan Wells and Jason Rubin, the two main desginers of Crash, the film and tells the story/timeline of Crash Bandicoot (1996), Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (1997) and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped (1998). It is being produced by Universal Pictures, Paramount Animation, 20th Century Studios, Universal Animation Studios, Reel FX Animation Studios, SkyDance Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Studios and Sony Pictures with the help of Naughty Dog Films.

Synopsis[]
In a scary island in the middle of nowhere, a scientist named Neo Cortex made an troop of mutant animals to his plan of dominating the world come true, but a animal, exactly a bandicoot, is mutated but it goes wrong making a wimpy mutant and as Cortex says "dumb bandicoot", Cortex bad now, throw his creation now named Crash out, and when a creature named Aku Aku discovers the horrifying plans of Cortex, he will train Crash to save the world from the evil hands of Dr. Neo Cortex.
