The Big Red Yoshi (also known as The Big Red Yoshi and the Realms of Hell! Internationally) is an American-Japanese-African-Arabian live-action/animated dark fantasy action comedy film and a spin off to Super Mario Gang. Directed by F. Gary Gray and Screenplay by Pat Casey & Josh Miller and Ehren Kruger. A Co-Production between the United States, Japan, South Africa and United Arab Emirates. It will star Will Smith (as the titular character), Eva Green, Samuel L. Jackson, Marsai Martin, Brian Tyree Henry, Kumail Nanjiani with Famke Janssen and Ice Cube. The film is distributed by Universal Pictures. Also the film is noted as the first Nintendo movie that is Rated R.
Ideal Premise[]
During and after the events of The Super Mario Gang Movie, Big Red Yoshi, a Giant red yoshi who feels like he is different than others but discovers a shocking truth about him and is confronted by a threat he must defeat.
Cast[]
- Will Smith as Big Red Yoshi, a Yoshi thats different than others, his size, his brain and his everything but they don't know who he really is.
- Eva Green as the film's main villain.
- Samuel L. Jackson as Big Red's adoptive father
- Marsai Martin as Cora Miller, a girl who joins Big Red.
- Brian Tyree Henry as Laurant "Untz" Lerman.
- Kumail Nanjiani as a secondary antagonist, a hitman hunting Big Red.
- Famke Janssen as an unnamed villain, a Businesswoman.
- Ice Cube as a crime lord.
- Billy Connolly as a swearing MLP-like Unicorn.
Additionally, McKenna Grace will reprise her role as Skye from PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie and The Super Mario Gang Movie, Kath Soucie as Fifi La Fume, a female counterpart of Pepe Le Pew from Tiny Toons whom Big Red dated and had an affair with. Hellboy is also set to appear in the film.
Ideal Scenes[]
- When Big Red is fighting a bunch of people teared a person's face off to show a bloody Skull with eyes.
- There's an archival footage of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie Where Skye talks to Chase about her past but is interrupted by Big Red during the set of the film.
- There is a scene where Nanjiani and Janssen's characters get killed off by entities from hell in a very gruesome way.
- Big Red mentions he and a grown up Fifi La Fume have been dating years prior to Super Mario Gang and later had an affair but they were caught immediately which went all over the news. It is Unknown what happened between the two before they broke up which Big Red visions it but in reality, Fifi just needed Space so people will stop talking about them which shows she truly loves him.
- Before the end of the film Big Red receives a call from Fifi La Fume who asked him out for a coffee, they later start over their relationship.

- Marsai Martin and Mckenna Grace's third film together after Spirit Untamed and PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
- Will Smith and Samuel L. Jackson's first film since Lakeview Terrance.
- Unlike the previous installments of Super Mario Gang, Steven Spielberg won't be involved with the film.
- Eva Green's second villain isn't portrayed as a "Femme Fatale" but a magical powerful woman since 300.
Sequel[]
After defeating a witch, learning for who he is and patching things up with Fifi La Fume. Big Red wants to live a normal life with Mario and his gang but due to his surprise he was recruited by an unnamed spy agency (the CIA or a secret society).
