Oridion is serious yet respectful and fatherly to others and knows to take a joke ounce now or then. He is also respects all life, and is also selfless as he gave up his physical form to protect the Speed Warriors from Syrus's attack on Eltar. He also took an interest to the speed warriors and told Larry to take care of them just like zordon did to the original rangers.

Villains

The Dark Reign

The main villainous group for the first three seasons. They are led by their leader Syrus and his subordinates,

  • Nelgar
  • Shou-Ghang
  • Lustrela
  • Lord Majin
  • Ravager
  • Cartwheel
  • Plant Heath

The Four Horsemen/Death Gang

Maddywhack's (ex-)personal bodyguards. They were initially loyal to him, but after Maddywhack killed Pestilence (Maddywhack killed him after he found Pestilence reporting the former's treachery to Syrus), the surviving members turned on him, killed him (Team Hot Wheels/The Speed Warriors later apparently destroyed him as a giant) and pledged their allegiance to Enoch, until the latter's defection, and then went to work for Syrus.

  • Death: The Death Gang's leader. He is a Grim Reaper/draugr-themed monster who wields a powerful scythe in battle which is capable of causing mass damage. Death is also an expert tactician and has power over dark matter.
  • Famine (Melissa Fahn): The Death Gang's intelligent but sarcastic 2nd in command. She is a wraith/Tzitzimitl-themed monster who can turn people into her slaves, and also use her dual whips to attack her foes.
  • War: The Death Gang's muscle. A golem/cyclops-themed monster, War is capable of lifting whole buildings and withstanding life-threatening blows. However, despite his loyalty, he is not very smart, to the chagrin of his comrades (especially Famine.).
  • Conquest: The Death Gang's assassin, and War's best friend. He is themed after the Kamaitachi Youkai and the naga, and wields two sharp blades. Conquest is also a joker, and tends to make unnecessary jokes when fighting, mostly about Team Hot Wheels/the Speed Warriors.
  • Pestilence: The Death Gang's Rokurokubi/Tarasque themed spy and intern. He is a master of trickery and deception, and is one of Syrus' most reliable henchmen.
  • Chaos: The Death Gang's other assassin. He has a skeleton/knight motif, and rarely speaks.

Psycho Pirates

A group of space marauders who work for Syrus. They are led by their intelligent and calculative leader, Psycon.
