Unused title for the uncomplete sequel
Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs 3 was a planned sequel of Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs and Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs 2, was supposed to be a part of Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatball franchise.
Sony had expressed interest in making a sequel after the end of the television series of the same name, however, the project was never finished, and was replaced by a reboot.
Plot[]
Years after Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, Flint and company must stop the FLDSMDFR that has turned into a monster food to free it and restore it to normal.

- Bill Hader and company were interested in starring in the film, however, none of that happened
- Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs 2 was not well received by critics and the public although it was a box office success
- Cody Cameron decided not to return as director
- James Caan, the voice of Tim Lockwood, passed away on July 6, 2022.

- All elements of the canceled sequel were used in the reboot, released later in 2023.

- Bill Hader then returned to star in the reboot after half the cast decided not to return.
