Tales at the Diner, also referred to as simply The Diner, is a British-American animated adult anthology horror television series concept by Red-Verse-Writer. The series revolves around a roadside diner known simply as "the Roadside", which is used as the framing device of the series. Most episodes begin, following a skit with the Roadside's staff, with at least one customer coming in and telling a story of a terrifying adventure they had, which starts up the episode's main plot.

Season 1

1. Simple Thrills, Part 1: Jacob Mills, a movie stunt double, comes into the Roadside and tells people the story of how he cheated death. During a particularly perilous stunt in an action film, Jacob ends up breaking his neck due to the crew's laziness, but when the Grim Reaper appears to take his soul, Jacob accidently holds off death until the hourglass he carries runs out, preventing him from dying. As Jacob fully heals, the Grim Reaper appears to him again and warns him that he will take revenge upon Jacob's family.
2. Simple Thrills, Part 2: As Roadside waitress Lana Kane begins believing that the Grim Reaper is outside the Roadside, Jacob Mills continues his story, talking about how he began taking drastic measures to protect his wife, parents and brother, to the extent of kidnapping them and sealing them in a underground room where he believes they will be safe. However, when the Grim Reaper reappears in his home, Jacob must find a way to convince Death to spare him and his loved ones.
3. We Found Her in the Sewer: Urban explorer Callum McLean arrives at the Roadside to tell his tale of how he and his friends Brian Johnson and Peter Conkler saved a life. During their trek into an abandoned sewer, they wind up rescuing a unconscious woman, who they nickname Kitty after finding her Hello Kitty wallet. When they find the entrance that they took into the sewer blocked off, they are forced to venture deeper into the sewage system, where they come across a creature living in the sewer that Kitty was seemingly running from.
4. A House with No Doors: A young woman named Rosie arrives at the Roadside and begins to tell how she found a creature that "showed her the truth" of her grandmother's house. When Rosie and her boyfriend pay a visit to her grandmother during a rainstorm
