Super Mario Bros (2002) or Tim Burton's Super Mario is an 2002 live action fantasy adventure film based on the video game of the same name by Nintendo written and directed by Tim Burton & Henry Thomas. This film was produced by Paramount Pictures, Tim Burton Productions, Spyglass Entertainment, Original Pictures, Nintendo. The movie is a reboot and reimagining of the original. The film was released on May 31, 2002 and distributed by Paramount Pictures worldwide.
The film received mixed reviews but was a box office success making $426 Million against a $220 Million budget.
