Striving Sword is an American fighting fantasy video game created by Ed Boon, being developed by NetherRealm Studios and is set to be published by Warner Bros. Games on April 29th, 2025.
Synopsis[]
The fantasy world of Reyolian used to be in perfect harmony for centuries, until a brutal conflict arises and it’s four kingdoms go to war with each other. Upon hearing about this, the ancient wizard Marktoff decides to take things into his own hands and chooses to host a tournament where warriors from all kingdoms can face each other in swordplay combat for his amusement. However, some of the warriors notice that the tournament isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, as Marktoff may be hiding more malicious intentions in all of this, so they have to go against all odds and band together to reveal the truth.

- Marktoff (voiced by TBD) - an energetic and hammy, yet mysterious ancient wizard who has always been interested in conquest and sees the Reyolian war as the opportunity to set up his own tournament. If anyone were to ever find out his secrets, he would not take it kindly and give them a hard time - even when other people start to catch on to his shady practices.
