The game has a massive focus on aggressive combat as you play as one of the various characters in one on one combat. The game has three super moves, each of them with varying affects depending of how much meter you have. The game also allows you to thrust your opponent into the air, allowing you to do insane combos in the air, although there is the option of blocking in the air. The game implements a counter system where if you land a hit immediately after successfully blocking an attack, that hit is double the damage.
