Stitch and Friends is an American animated television series created by Roberts Gannaway and Tony Craig.

Plot[]

After landing on Earth dehydrated with the other 624 experiments. Stitch tries to find his 624 cousins and avoid General Specific, his henchman Private Public and his new hired and only gigantic member, Gantu, the people who want to use Stitch and his other cousins for the Experiment DNA Ray Gun Machine, so they send it to Dr Hämsterviel.

Style[]

The series's style is the same as Sheep in the Big City and Sheep in ShowTown, except with some differences:

Before announcing the chapter title, they annouce the episode number and title. In the pliot, it was called "Episode 0: Stitch and Reuben".

The running gag is when phrases and expressions such as "Hold the phone!" or "wild goose chase" are usually followed by literal interpretations of the phrase mentioned, Jumba, Pleakley or Gantu states that it was a 'figurative speech' including whenever a character exclaims "Great Scott!" a Scotsman appears out of nowhere, saying, "Yes?".

Fake Advertisement is also showed, although the series has it's own Lunchables commercials featuring Lunchables mascot Platy and Jackie, due to Lunchables sponsoring the show.

Characters[]

  • X-626/Stitch (voiced by Chris Sanders) - The lead character. After finding out about his 624 other experiment "cousins", he sets out to find them, reform them to good, and have them join their one true place. He also learns more about life on Earth along the way.
  • General Specific (voiced by Kevin Seal) - The main antagonist of the series. The dim-witted leader of the Secret Military Organization, Specific wants to capture Stitch and his cousins for his Experiment DNA Ray Gun Machine. He is never discouraged by his constant losses. Specific always speaks through his clenched teeth. He mentions in one episode that he has a steel plate in his head. Hämsterviel often calls him "Specific".
  • Private Public (voiced by James Edmund Godwin) - General Specific's right-hand man. He is always right behind General Specific, and despite being much smarter, he would prefer to receive orders than give them. Hämsterviel often calls him "Public".
  • Colonel Gantu (voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) - General Specific's third-in-command and the only gigantic member of the Secret Military Organization. After forcibly retired from his position as captain of the Galactic Armada at the end of the pilot, he get hired by the Military and fights against Stitch in capturing the experiments, but is usually defeated due to his arrogance, bad luck, and the abilities of Stitch.
  • Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel (voiced by Jeff Bennett) – He is Jumba's former lab partner who seeks to capture the genetic experiments he helped to create through financing, hiring the Secret Military for help. He works from his "prison cell" which he set up as a laboratory. His name is usually mispronounced much to his chagrin, usually as "Hamsterwheel", "Hamsterveal" or later "Hamsterfield".
  • Dr. Jumba Jookiba (voiced by Maurice LaMarche in the series and Jess Winfield in the pilot) – The creator of the many genetic experiments, which includes Stitch and Reuben, he lives with the Stitch after being exiled to Earth in the pilot alongside Pleakley.
  • Pleakley (voiced by Kevin McDonald) – A former agent for the United Galactic Federation, he lives with the Stitch after being exiled to Earth in the pilot alongside Jumba.
  • X-625/Reuben (voiced by Rob Paulsen) – General Specific's pet in capturing experiments, he is a genetic experiment who has all the abilities of Stitch (plus a greater fluency in English). However, he is a lazy coward who prefers to make sandwiches rather than fight. General Specific always puts him on his shoulder because it will make it more tough.

Episodes[]

Note that Stitch, Experiment 626, appeared in every episode, so he is not included in the "Experiments Mentioned" list.

5 Yin and Yang Two experiments activate at the same time while Felicity and Stitch are arguing. Felicity and Stitch insist that they each can catch an experiment without the other. Meanwhile, Jumba and Pleakley make a bet to see which one will capture an experiment first, and Gantu forces Reuben to help them catch them both. The race is on because Jumba theorizes that the world will be doomed if the two elementally opposing experiments touch each other, they will destroy Earth. Eventually, Felicity and Stitch team up together again and help each other capture the experiments each was after using the "tools" given to them by Jumba and Pleakley. Felicity repurposes the experiments to create a new island.
