Steven Spielberg

Steven Allan Spielberg (born December 18, 1946) is an American director, producer, and screenwriter. He is considered one of the founding pioneers of the New Hollywood era, as well as being viewed as one of the most popular directors and producers in film history. He is also the founder of Amblin Entertainment and one of the co-founders of DreamWorks Pictures.

Spielberg is more particularly known for directing the films Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. the Extraterrestrial, Jurassic Park, and the first four Indiana Jones films. He has also worked as a producer or executive-producer on film franchises such as Men in Black, Back to the Future, and Transformers, as well as in films such as An American Tale, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Land Before Time and Monster House.

Outside of films, Spielberg has worked on TV series such as Animaniacs and its 2020 revival, Tiny Toons Adventures, Freakazoid!, The Pacific, and an upcoming Halo TV series.
