Rise of Boba Fett is an American live action series and an installment of Star Wars Legends Plus.

Synopsis[]

Set four years after Revenge of the Sith, a slightly older Boba Fett begins his evolution from a rookie bounty hunter to one of the most feared hunters around, getting involved in the galaxy's most dangerous criminal organizations as well as dealing with both rival bounty hunters and the Empire.

Characters[]

Main Cast[]

  • Boba Fett (played by Ty Tennant) - a somewhat cynical and cold but sometimes cocky young clone bounty hunter who is still rising as a bounty hunter while dealing with the death of his father six years ago. He had recently fit inside his father's Mandalorian armor and has ownership of his father's ship, the Slave-One, traveling through the galaxy while slowly getting more hardened.
  • Dengar (played by Josh Holloway) - a gruff and violent but occasionally charming seasoned and skilled bounty hunter who is the current teacher to Boba Fett, having found him around three years ago as he teaches Fett the complexities of being a mercenary. He can be quite treacherous and wants to make sure that Fett doesn't become soft.
  • EK-15 (voiced by Troy Baker) - a sarcastic and sometimes quite grouchy cube-like droid who Boba bought to serve as a co-pilot in piloting the Slave-One initially as he usually makes snappy and sarcastic comments to Fett although Fett does seem to enjoy his company. He ends up being destroyed in the season 3 finale, sacrificing himself to save Fett's life.
  • Moff Alyssia Deralie (played by Rhea Seehorn) - an ambitious and cold Imperial Moff who had recently been promoted to Moff as she is tasked with keeping control of the Empire in the Outer Rim, learning of Boba Fett and becoming both a rival and a reluctant ally to him, with her interests and his interests usually intertwining in some way.
  • Zyral Mythias (played by Emily Rudd) - a Mirialan fixer who was forced into the role at a younger age thanks to her living in Coruscant which is infamous for its underground criminal network. She meets Boba Fett thanks to Dengar and becomes a fixer with Fett, with her admiring his ambition although she is afraid this ambition might get him killed.
  • Gruto Typhe (played by Abubakbar Salim) - a grouchy and cynical operative of the Schism who was initially sent to kill Boba Fett after Fett was hired to destroy a Spice trade ran by the Schism. However, he ends up seeing the potential of a warrior in Fett and becomes a rival/mentor to him, with him becoming a freelance mercenary who usually crosses paths with Fett.

Recurring Cast[]

  • Lorvik DeVaal (played by Noah Wyle) - the charismatic yet ruthless kingpin of a galactic syndicate known as the Schism who has been making deals with the Empire and supplying weaponry across the galaxy. He is the main antagonist of season 1, with him and those working for the Schism being ruthless and violent, with the goals of the Schism becoming even more powerful than the Empire. Thanks to his hubris, he ends up being killed by Fett at the finale of season 1. The Schism ends up becoming defunct after his death, with members of the Schism fleeing to other gangs.
  • Jabba the Hutt - Tatooine's most feared and ruthless kingpin and gangster who learns of Fett, and views great potential in him as a bounty hunter, occasionally hiring him for missions to test him although he is quite terrifying and ruthless as well, with everyone knowing not to cross the Hutt or else. He is a minor character in season 1 before being introduced fully in season 2, being a mix of puppetry and CGI.
    • Bib Fortuna (played by Matthew Wood) - Jabba's Twi'lek majordomo, chief aide and closest associate who is quite loyal to Jabba and ensures on making sure that Jabba rules fairly, making sure that nobody gets on his bad side. He speaks for the Hutt, being loyal to him and doubts what Fett is capable of.
  • Lon Cyone (played by Wyatt Russell) - a psychopathic yet quite cocky force sensitive ex-smuggler who used to be an operative of Jabba's before breaking free to form his own rival mob organization. He is the second season's primary antagonist, with his rising gang being a trouble to both the Hutts as well as the Empire, with his reveal forcing Fett to work with Deralie in order to incarcerate Cyone.
