Star Wars: The Force Released is a community project created by GazzaB9, MarvelDCandFantasyFanBoy12, and Jacky 50A, which is a sister project to the Marvel;Re, DC: New Age, and Infinity Comics initiatives. This project contains a number of fanfiction stories chronicling a number of tales told through the comic book medium within an alternate version of the Star Wars galaxy, which contains elements from both the Canon and Legends timelines.

This comic line encompasses events contained within the original trilogy.
- Vader - ongoing series (MarvelDCAndFantasyFanboy)
- Set a year after the death of the Republic and the rise of the Empire, Anakin Skywalker, now known as Darth Vader, heads on missions to spread the Empire's might while dealing with his own personal demons.
This comic line encompasses stories told after the fall of the Galactic Empire. Unlike the previous two lines, the Resurgence era does not encompass events contained within both the sequel trilogy and the future of Legends, but may contain content from such eras.
- Legacy of the Jedi - ongoing series (GazzaB9)
- Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader are dead and The Empire has fallen. Three years later, Luke Skywalker is slowly rebuilding the Jedi Order by gathering up all the Force Sensitive people he can find in the galaxy. However, the death of The Empire has created a major power gap that is coming to a head as new foes are rising in it's place.
Rules[]
- Ask one of the founders about joining before you do. If you are accepted, a founder will grant you the link to their Discord server.
- If you are allowed to join, try not to contradict something that someone else has written.
- OCs and fan characters are allowed but they aren't allowed to be the main characters of stories, unless the story is a one-shot story. OCs are allowed to be main characters there.
- In addition, try not to make your OC or fan character to "Mary Sue-ish", I.E. overpowered, easily wins fights, etc.
- Due to the possible differences between this Star Wars continuity and the established ones in both Canon and Legends, the dating system in this timeline would be based on the founding of the Galactic Empire instead of the Battle of Yavin. As an example, events that take place a thousand years before the Empire's founding would be dated 1,000 BFE (Before the Founding of the Empire) while the Battle of Scarif would be dated 16 AFE (After the Founding of the Empire), which means that it happened sixteen years after the Empire's founding.
