The Spores are a spacefaring hive mind race of sentient alien organisms that appear in The Dawn of Monster Kid. They can absorb and/or replicate DNA of other species, evolving into powerful creatures. They are known throughout the universe with the power to terraform entire planets and create new species.
Physiology[]
Juvenile Spores can evolve into Spore Monsters, an adult Spore can terraform a planet with the DNA they absorbed or replicate.
Appearances[]
The Spores are small blue amoeba-like creatures that are shaped like spiky balls with one yellow eye.
Personality[]
The Spores are not actually evil, but they will only attack if they are threatened by anyone as they can destroy entire planets when being angered.
Biography[]
The Spores are ancient extraterrestrial creatures from another dimension called the Void and have came into existence with the universe itself. They were discovered by the Ancient Ones, who intended to use the Spores to terraform any uninhabited planet and creating new species. However, the Spores can evolve into giant monsters and was powerful enough to lay waste to entire civilizations on other planets as one Spore Monster invaded Mars and wiped out the Martians.
History[]
Spore Invasion of Earth[]
A colony of Spores were brought to Earth by Mr. Z when he built a portal to the Void. Afterwards, he plans to use the alien organisms to terraform the planet and create an army of monsters, only to be defeated and captured by Avalon.

- Numerous Spores can combine into a single giant monster.
- The Spores has the ability to terraform any planet with seeded DNA, spawning an entire ecosystem, giving birth to new species.

- The Spores can emit sound waves from their bodies to send out a signal to contact other Spores.
- The Spores are shoot laser beams for their eyes.
- The Spores have the ability to merge with humans and other aliens.
- The Spores can manipulate technology and corrupt artificial intelligences.
- The Spores can adapt, evolve into powerful creatures known as Spore Monsters by absorbing and replicating DNA of other species they make contact with or just looking at them. They can also merge with other minerals.
- The Spores can reproduce offsprings.
- The Spores can revive extinct prehistoric creatures such as dinosaurs.
- The Spores need to feed on water and sunlight as well as some microorganisms.

Weaknesses[]
- In their normal stage, Spores are weak against electricity and extreme temperatures such as heat and cold.
- If the bodies of Spore Monsters get destroyed or collapse from exhaustion, they explode into particles and reverted back to their Spore forms.
Spore Flowers[]
Spore Flowers are giant flowers that can spread Spores into space, secured in giant pods, but they need sunlight to complete the process.
Spore Aliens[]
Any alien race that evolved from Spores, classified as Spore Aliens.
- Spore Vampires - An alien race of creatures that evolved from Spores that mimic the DNA of vampires from Earth.
- Changelings - An alien race that evolved from Spores that mimic Max Stewart's DNA.
