Southern Dixie Belle Pretty Cure is a new Pretty Cure season that was made in Japan, but is themed after the southern United States and takes place in New Orleans, hence why the characters have English-language names. It was produced for television by Toei Company, with DreamWorks Animation, Hasbro and NBC Universal distributing it for international territories, such as the United States and Canada.
