Sonic the Hedgehog All-Stars is a 2026 Japanese-American video game compilation developed by Evening Star, Arzest, and Sonic Team, and published by Sega for several consoles and platforms including the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Microsoft Windows. It was released in North America and Europe in June 2026 for the 35th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and in Japan and Australia the following July. It is a compilation of several 3D Sonic games, as well as other unlockable games and additional content. The main eleven games of the collection are - Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic the Hedgehog (it's not the original game but it is the popular fangame, Sonic: Project '06), Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations, Sonic Lost World, Sonic Forces, Team Sonic Racing, and Sonic Frontiers - all being released in the span of 24 years from 1998-2022. It also features several spinoff titles such as Sonic 3D Blast (the Sega Saturn version), Knuckles' Chaotix (remastered using the Retro Engine), the Sonic Rush duology (remade from the ground up due to the Nintendo DS' dual screen), and more.

Development began in 2021. Sega wanted to make what they would call, the "definitive Sonic collection." Evening Star's Christian Whitehead and Simon Thomley returned to the series after the universally acclaimed Sonic Mania. Arzest, who developed Sonic Superstars, also returned. Two game engines were technically used: Evening Star's Star Engine was used to re-build the games released from 1998-2003 (Adventure, Shuffle, Adventure 2, and Heroes), and the Hedgehog Engine is used to re-build other games such as Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, Sonic Riders, and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. Other Sega games were put into the compilation such as Nights into Dreams, Super Monkey Ball and more controversially, Night Trap. Previous Sonic voice actors such as Ryan Drummond and Jason Griffith reprised their roles for their respective games, re-recording lines from scratch. For the Adventure games and Heroes and all games starting with Colors, Tails was voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey, and in '06 and Unleashed, he was voiced by Amy Palant. Project '06's creator Ian "ChaosX" Moris was approached by Whitehead to include P-06 in the game, and Moris gave the team his approval.
