Trivia[]
- Unlike The Lost Village, Smurfette isn't the main focus as almost all of the Smurfs are.
- Like The Lost Village and the live-action/CGI duology, it was originally supposed to be produced by Sony Pictures Animation and distributed by Columbia Pictures, but production moved to Paramount Pictures after its parent company ViacomCBS signed a partnership with its owner IMPS/Lafig to share the global licensing rights for the franchise with each other.
- This film is dedicated in loving memory of The Lost Village's director Kelly Asbury, who passed away on June 26th, 2020, victim of cancer.
