Silver and Blaze

Silver and Blaze is an action-adventure film which serves as a prequel to James Cameron's Sonic film. It is the eleventh installment of James Cameron's Sonic Cinematic Universe.

Synopsis

Set a year before the end-credits scene of James Cameron's Sonic, Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat work to protect their dimension from the demonic sorcerer Mephiles the Dark, who seeks to bring darkness in the Sol Dimension by committing the genocide of the Wisps. The film explores the origin of the friendship between Silver and Blaze, and the battles and adventures they had in the Sol Dimension, including their first encounter with Lane Stargate astronauts Angelica "Angie" Lane and Robert Lawton.

• Chris Hemsworth as Silver the Hedgehog, a grey anthropomorphic hedgehog with psychic powers and one of the defenders of the Sol Dimension. Hemsworth provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Elizabeth Olsen as Blaze the Cat, a confidant to Silver and his closest friend, she is an indigo anthropomorphic cat with Pyrokinetic abilities and a princess hailing from the Sol Dimension, where she is both the regent of her world and the appointed guardian of the Sol Emeralds, a role similar to that of Sonic and Knuckles combined. Olsen provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Joaquin Phoenix as Mephiles the Dark, an demonic sorcerer who seeks to bring darkness in the Sol Dimension by committing the genocide of the Wisps. Phoenix provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Abby Ryder Fortson as Marine the Raccoon, an anthropomorphic young raccoon who is raised by Blaze as her own sister. Fortson provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Dove Cameron as Sophie Gold, an 10-year old anthropomorphic female Jackal/Red Fox hybrid with Light-manipulating abilities who befriends Silver and Blaze. Cameron provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Maggie Gyllenhaal as Angelica "Angie" Lane, an astronaut and adventurer working for Lane Stargate who is stranded on the Sol Dimension alongside her mentor Robert Lawton. She is confident friends with Blaze.
• Malese Jow as Whisper the Wolf, a female wolf with a roboticized arm, and a former member of the now-dismantled Diamond Cutters who is allied with Silver and Blaze against Mephiles, and is aided in her efforts by her own personal team of Wisps. Jow provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Tom Hiddleston as Zero, an anthropomorphic jackal, and the captain of the Jackal Squad mercenary group allied to Mephiles. The film explores details about Zero before he became Infinite. Hiddleston provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Jude Law as Neon, an anthropomorphic jackal, and a member of the Jackal Squad. Law provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Aubrey Plaza as Crystal, an anthropomorphic female jackal, and the second-in command of the Jackal Squad. Plaza provides voice and motion capture for the character.
• Sam Neill as Robert Lawton, an astronaut of NASA who is stranded on the Sol Dimension along with his business protegee Angie.
